He's on 70k a week until 2022.

End of story.

and because their window is shut and the option of a return to a place where he was loved will be a big selling point.

Loan a possibility is suppose if you cover half?

Better cheaper options about though.

The Foster we used to have might have saved it - but the Foster now? Rejected by Southampton who also want him punted? Mmm.

i think it will be a loan, 100%.

Forster will be fine up here, could haev said the same about gordon and we got a few good years out of him.

I don't subscribe to the view that playing Calmac at LB cost us that game btw (Whilst I'd have played Hayes personally, as Boli would have got slaughtered, and Broonie's inexcusable handball at 2-1 was the biggest issue for me anyway), but I do subscribe to the fact we don't have anyone who can play LB that would have made much difference there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Combined with taking McGregor out of midfield is the issue for most people. It was a stupid move

Didn’t see the game but the guys in here said it was obviously not working from the start
The issue I think was it was such a “left field” decision that if he changes it he’s admitting he made a balls of it to begin with
A mixture of ego and not wanting a riddy
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep, from the first second Zach. McGregor there did not improve our LB position, and at the same time massively worsened our midfield. The team had been doing well, albeit shaky defensively, then he changes it in a game that we shouldn`t have fkd up.

I don`t know if we would have come through the tie with McGregor in midfield, but we would definitely have had a better chance.

I think Forster would be able to come good again, would much prefer you stuck with Bain and Gordon.

Only positive is it might result in the purchasing of more players, that's it but reaction is poor, better to be proactive.

Celtic seem to still need the players they always did.

But no CL might impact your budget and it certainly makes you a less attractive proposition.

Which is quite something considering what an unattractive smelly bunch you already were before Cluj papped you out on your erchies 😳

To be fair to celtic(Sorry da please stop spinning)
They had funded£10 million in defenders who sat in the bench
Maybe they should have got them a tad quicker but big Jullien? Was there a few weeks

----------------------------------------------------------------------

been in 6 weeks

i said he should have been playing the previous qualifier but people didnt think so of course

plenty a time.

its all better now that you said that

assume we qualified,

we conceded more goals than them, but we had so much more faith so that means we go through right?

no?

what????

blindly flapping your hands about shouting keep the faith doesn't replace having a settled back 4?

that can't be right surely?

do u UEFA know about this?

Just seen Gary Mac's comments on Rangers transfer business.

"If someone becomes available and they can make a difference we will always be interested

If you look at our squad we have plenty of cover, unless someone really jumps at us we are happy"

I know what it says but i read it as we haven't given up on Kent. He wants to come to us, Liverpool want to sell him and we are a tie away from boosting the bank balance.

Anyone else think this could be the plan?

Today's rumour.

Celtic trying to get Zlatan Ibrahimovic on loan for 6 months as apparently his agent is good friends with Dermot Desmond.
