Like I said a year ago, if he is still doing it after February then you can be happy but so far he has been scoring well at the start of the season and then misses large parts of the end of the season either by being suspended or by missing chances
keeps his head and he will be a good player.
tough to change a mentality like that overnight, and its easy done when you are winning, i suppose the real test of temper will be when the chips are down.
can't hurt having a head like Defoe helping out though

I saw on twitter last night that Morelos is now in Rangers top 10 European goalscorers.
I'm uncomfortable with stats like that. I don't really think goals in qualifiers should count. Is that harsh?
Last season was the first time Morelos had ever been sent off.
It is hardly something that had blighted his career for years.
I do think he can mature and grow as a player. He is hopefully beginning to realise now that he doesn't need to be in a fight all the time to score goals.
Playing in Europe is definitely different from the Scottish league. He doesn't get the same treatment that he gets domestically.
But it is up to him to deal with it.
Time will tell if he has improved that side of his game.
The point of the post was more to just appreciate him as a footballer and a goalscorer. He has improved as a player each season he has been here and his early season record is remarkable.

Giroud was top scorer with 11 in the Europa last season.
If we get into the groups i expect Morelos to get around there too. That would add some significant value onto his price tag imo.
The way he's started we must keep him this season. He's not reacting and the petulance has been dialed down a good few notches. Keep this up and we've got a guy who can fire us a to a Title and make us a shedload of cash.

Morelos is a good news story for Scottish football.
Surely you boys can find it in your heart to show a little bit of appreciation for him?
There has been a lot of coefficient concern this season. This week has been a bad week for the coefficient.
So lets look on the positives. Alfie is playing football with a smile on his face and blazing a trail across Europe with his goal scoring exploits.

Morelos gets slaughtered when he does something daft - and rightly so.
In the interest of balance he is due some praise when he is doing his job exceptionally well.
That is all.
I think him missing out on the colombia squad after that celtic game last season and not going to the copa america hurt him, I thinki he was too over fired up trying to push himself to get into that team.
Hopefully it seems he has realised (or at least he thinks) that that over the top stuff cost him his international place. He badly needs into that squad to help with work permit regulations to play in England.
I think he is gonna have an awesome season.
i think he is a good player, works hard and deserves every goal he gets.
i also think he is a plum though.

I’d be surprised if there are many who have scored more than 7 goals in 4 starts in the Europa qualifiers though.
Which makes him a bit of a trailblazer for me👍
Still got a good chance of finishing EL top scorer considering he's on 7 and 11 was the winning total last season.
Value will go up if he ends up EL top scorer regardless of who the goals were against imo.

depends how he does in the group if you get there doesnt it.
i'm not being funny, but i'd imagine scouts look at the leve of opposition scored against when considering players, or they aren't going their job right.
he'll get some in the groups tho, no question of that.
