Flash Forward. Thought the first series was good. Ended without conclusion.

Hostages was also a really good one. Plot: The president is about to undergo major heart surgery and the day befote, the surgeon's family (including the surgeon is taken hostage by US conspirators). She has to go in and kill the president or the family gets it... this is the pot for the first episode and basically the rest of the series. Really good concept and it took some interesting twists and turns.

I enjoyed the book but haven't seen the series.

As for the OP I'd have liked to have seen a not-rushed ending to Quantum Leap.

Heroes absolutely lost the plot by flipping characters from good to bad every other week, to the extent you lost all connection to them. Stopped watching it before the end despite S1 being great.

Deadwood is an obvious one

Heard a lot of good things about Deadwood but couldn't get past the first episode. I've been watching a lot of western-related shows recently so I might give it another try.

Absolutely gutted that the OA got cancelled. Was quite trippy and original.

S1 was the best but I thought it was ok up until season 4 where they did the carnival thing. that was a really strange direction for the show.

I agree there was a lot of flip flopping and mismanagement of the characters. Would love to see what a talented writer could have done with the show.

The Exorcist

Constantine

Black Sails rushed the last season imo... Some amazing episodes tho... Could have spread the story over 2

Heroes was killed too late, if anything.

The first season was superb, second decent, and the rest borderline terrible.

It would have been better to kill it after season two than let it die the painful death it had.

In the flipside the Walking Dead should have been cancelled about 5 seasons ago.

Hannibal. Even if it was a little too artsy for its own good at times it was an enjoyable show and Mads Mikkelsen was a decent Lecter. Would have been nice for them to explore "The Silence of the Lambs" timeline.

Exorcist was great. Was annoyed that hot cancelled. Too niche a genre to get decent figures I suppose.

It was getting past it even before that. The zombie outbreak storyline is such a limited one.

That was a great series, I remember watching it on Sky One back in the 90s.

Lost should have been stopped as well after the 3rd season.

There was a brilliant BBC 6 part series with Sean Bean and Anna Friel called Broken a couple of years back. A 2nd series would be very welcome.

I hope the new series of Peaky Blinders is a return to form, I thought series 4 was poor compared to the first 3.

--------
Yet they have managed to get two spin off shows and 3 movies on the go as well as 10 series of the original

Even the comic book has ended, I think?
