Looking good for the 1st time in years, giving us hope for the future. Nothing won yet of course but he's brought the feel good factor.missing for a long time.

I think a combination of Rangers improving and Celtic declining means it probably will be a proper title race this season.

I can imagine it'll be the sweetest title win you've ever had when you eventually get there.

I just think he is doing a pretty decent job and he has been a good appointment.

I like him.

His attitude is spot on for a Rangers manager, very much in the Walter mould in how he conducts himself. Driving home the need to be relentless, setting high standards and getting players to buy in.

The board deserve credit too imo for allowing him to bring in so many of his own players over 2 seasons and we now genuinely look like a team capable of winning the league.

Early doors of course but i'm in an optimistic mood for the season.

Would you count qualification for the Europa League groups as the fourth trophy?

Will be tremendous whenever it happens. Ivan, hopefully this season.

Enjoyed the interview last night when he drifted onto the East Fife game.

I'll give a few of the boys time who have been giving me snide looks and daggers not getting in the side

I think the board need a bit of credit for the appointment.

Even if we don't win the league and he goes we are not going to be left in the shambles previous manager left us.

We have a pretty decent squad (if a little bloated) which is a decent blend of utility/squad players (Stewart, Flanno, Docherty, Jack), experienced professionals (Davis, Defoe, Goldson, McGregor) and talented younger players who have a value (Aribo, Katic, Kamara, Morelos).

It has been a massive turnover of players but hopefully this is the last window where major surgery is required for a couple of years.

Certainly seems to be doing pretty well however it wasn't long ago he was being slaughtered when Aberdeen horsed you out at Ibrox

I do however at this moment think Rangers are in a better position than Celtic

lot can change with the old firm mind you

Yeah that was a really odd game. Probably the most disappointing result of the season for me.

We gifted them a goal out of nothing 5 minutes in. And then never really recovered.

They kicked the crahp out of us that night. Took it in turns to get booked. Think it was 8 of them in the end.

Whereas Morelos got booked early on for having the audacity to be strangled by Considine in the box.

We just need to deal with that sort of thing this season. I think we are better set to do that.

I think if he wins the league and Klopp is still in situ at Liverpool he might want a crack at the CL.

But that said if he won the league he would be pretty hard to keep hold of.

One way or another Gerrard will be gone in a couple years. Either sacked cause he didnt stop Celtic or headhunted because he did

posted on 16/8/19

He’s a vvank and he has a silly accent.

Not like Lenn...oh.

posted on 16/8/19

He’s had three transfer windows and a decent helping of cash to spend hasn’t he so he should be progressing to not put too fine a point on it. I still geek as if it was someone shall we say less famous they’d have been pushed out last season.

Anyway he has brought some stability and at least less of the off field nonsense as his predecessors did.

With Celtic fwcking things up I think we can all see this league should go to the wire this season.

He’ll be gone either way after that.

Hamish, if Stevie DOESN'T win anything this year should he be sacked?

posted on 16/8/19

Can’t fault the progress he’s made. Conducts himself brilliantly too. Big fan.

But as said, won’t count for anything if there’s no trophies end of season.

Only worry he’s brought too many players in!

Ah....the old progress trophy retained from last year I see needs to win proper trophies

Lennons first season was like that for us - party v Motherwell while rangers were winning the league. However we knew the direction we were going in meant it would happen sooner or later - and so it proved.

Hope it’s not the same with Gerrard
