Lingard buys things

That will upset many on here.
Local lad who loves Utd and loves playing for Utd helps a local team. The audacity of him.

I'd rather have 10 Lingards than 10 Di Maria's or Sanchez's in my team.

Yeh he lacks a little quality and isnt in the elite level of players but he's one of our own, and wants to be here.

Lets see if this goes national....i doubt it.
Only one game gone, and i swear, so called pundits already with the hate.
Merson, credit to him, he did apologise for his kneejerk words. But he said it on a programme that i dont think many watch. Lets call it a Page 7 sky tv apology.
But apologise to Maguire he did.
But now Charlie Nicholas has had a mini meltdown dissing UTD.
One game!?
And what is it with the Arsenal lot. Forever clout chasing, not wanting to let go of a rivalry that died a decade ago. Their own fault, not ours.
They decided to penny pinch and still claim they are amongst the elite, but Man Utd is forever on their minds.
We get it, you miss the hay day when you were actually good, and you miss UTD too.. not so much from our end. We have bigger rivals than you lot.

Sorry i digress, Big up Lingard. A class act. Those kids will never forget that gesture.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

if this had been Salah then there would be an article on here about it. But because it is Lingard, no one has heard about it and there are no articles on here about it.

Why would it upset people?
I am not a fan. I think he is a poor footballer personally and I am not a huge fan of his childishness off the pitch but if he wants to do something for the local community then fair play to him. Would never knock him for that. Stupid to think people would get upset about it

Some on here hate for the sake of hating.
That's what this site has become.

I did read the Charlie Nicholas prediction. What a joke of a man.
Maguire was average against chelsea
Wan Bissaka is suspect
He would sell Pogba

What a tool

It is an absolute fabulous gesture in my view. Fans of big clubs find it difficult to understand the financial constraints under which football grassroots clubs operate. Big clubs have money thrown at them and in turns these clubs spend a fortune in playing staff and resources.
Oh so unlike what happens down the football chain.
We always here about having to ensure the money goes down the lower leagues trail, but in practice hardly.
This is gesture of a player helping other players.

There's an affinity between players whatever level and good to see Lingaard doing so.
I played in amateur league and yes money is tight but the desire to play football was the motivation to keep such a league going.
Well done Lingaard.

He's got Utd to lose at Wolves, Leicester to win at Chelsea and City to thrash Spurs!

Guys..stop listening to Nicholas. He's an absolute buffoon. An embarrassment to Celtic, arsenal, Scotland, his family and anything else he's ever been associated with.

Whoever decided to put that on our TV screens has a lot to answer for.

You don’t think he is childish in his videos then? Okaaaaaay then

posted on 17/8/19

His videos are childish and his charity and community work is to be applauded

Now if he could just start doing his stuff on the football pitch and on a consistent basis

Nice gesture from Lingard. He’s still a tw@t though,

posted on 17/8/19

A twit, maybe. A tw@t, no. Cos there’s levels here.
I’d called John Terry a Tw@t.
Lingard isn’t on that level.

Fair. Terry is a whole different level to Lingard, who just behaves like an idiot at times.

He does still act childish for a 26 year old man.

He looks younger than his age, so that doesn't help him.

But his kindness has to be applauded. He has a heart of gold.

But we pay him for footballing abilities, and he has to show more consistency on the field. He's a useful player to have. One of the best off the ball movement players we have. Can come in handy depending on who we play.
