Don't agree about Ramsey. I was sorry to see one of our most prolific goal-scorers and dynamic players leave.
true, we have saved on wages and got some good players in, but I still wouldn't include him amongst the the disappointments.
Agree with rest of article however.

Was also a bit hurt with Ramsey leaving, probably Wengers favourite player
He was played as part of the front three on Wednesday which doesn't suit him. He was in midfield yesterday hence him being better. You've also got to remember he was out injured for a year and didn't get much time at the end of last season. He's a good player.
Ox has been out for a very long time with an injury. Saying that he hasn't improved massively under Klopp. His last season at arsenal was still probably his best.
He is a good player that can play on the flanks and in MF.
Guendouzi needs to start contributing with the odd goal here and there
Ox was in good form for us starting games before he got injured against city 17/18 months.
I think your see the best of him providing he stays injury free November December time.
Anyways you taking that bet
I never said the kid is rubbish, he is a decent player, just doesnt have the ceiling he is made out to have.
2011-2012 Ox signs for Arsenal and Kevin De Bruyne is slumming it out for Genk. We should have loaned out the Ox but not to the championship, maybe germany or leagues where players are developed better.

I am not convinced Pranks.I have a soft spot for the british players arsenal have nurtured but I feel we overate them especially when it comes to consistency. Its easy to slam Pogba when he is not consistent but we turn a blind eye on our own when they display the same.Look at Barkley, Frank will obviously give him more opportunities but I bet he wont amount to much.
I thought Ox was better than Keita but Im changing my mind.Think Keita will be the better player who will play more if he stays injury free.
Those English players aren't the reason you didn't win titles and if you do (which I doubt) then Guendouzi isn't going to be the reason.

Debatable Wenger stopped signing players in the hope that these injury prone english players will come good.Add Diaby, Rosicky etc
Ox just needs games, he’s coming back from a long term injury. His performance yesterday was already a big improvement from midweek, put in some great crosses. More minutes will see him return to his best.
As for Gwendozi, I’ve not seen anything from him to suggest he will be anything more than a decent player. He’s still young but his skill set seems pretty limited. Nelson and Willock more promising. Just my opinion of course.
Players are developed better in Germany and the Netherlands.
The Ox is a good player who was very good before his injury. He is more suited to a midfield role than a wide player.
He will need time to get to match fitness levels.

Ze bet then
As for Ramsey, if he was on a long contract we would have sold him for at least £50M in this market.
Has been one of our most prolific goal scoring midfielders for the last couple of seasons.
Ox is good enough for back up, no doubt.
And that's what he is at the moment.

I can see him becoming a regular in that team, if he stays fit. I like the boy, I was disappointed he left, and I hope he does well in his career at both club and country.
think it was Roma first leg 5-2 he got injured double ACL. If he can get back to that form in the box to box mf role 35m looks a bargain tbf. 26 years old hes got his best years ahead of him in theory. Think its a bit unfair to look at him coming back from such an injury on top of that Klopp coming out after games taking the blame for playing Ox out of position.
"I didn't say a lot to Ox, I don't think it was necessary. For Ox it was very important to have these minutes, it's a position he can play," he said, according to Goal. "He can play much better than he did but that's how it is and after a long injury you have to find back the rhythm. In training it's already there and now in the game he had good moments but of course not enough for his quality.
"In that position and the circumstances it was obviously not as possible as we would have wished, but that's then my mistake and not his mistake because I made the decision."
_________
I think the fact Klopps convinced enough to be willing to risk playing him so early says a lot, he must look good in training etc Klopps seeing what he can bring back to the team. His performances havent been there yet but it took him a while to get going when he first joined us too after a double ACL hes having to do all that again getting up to speed.
One of the strange narratives in Ox's first season in Liverpool was how much he had improved under Klopp. He was easily among our top 3 performers, playing from right wing-back, in the second half of the season before he left us so I couldn't see how he was playing any better.
For sure, we missed his pace and have struggled in the search for dynamic wide players since then - especially as Alexis and Walcott left that same season.
Gwen has a lot of potential, but I don't trust his decision making. He's prone to rashness particularly in the propensity to rush out of position to win the ball leaving gaps in midfield to be exploited by the opposition. Also, for someone who breaks forward so much, he needs to be more productive in advanced positions - in his shooting, final ball and link-up play in attack.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eventually for us he played a position where his quick turns and burst of pace in tight areas can break the opposition defensive lines and he could use his pace to support the front 3 by keeping up or catching up with them, his strengths are those and dribbling. His crossing and decision making are questionable and i dont really like him out wide, but yeah wing back he did well too for Arsenal.
Was kind of gutted when Ox left. Great character, phenomenal dribbler. Couldn't blame him after Wenger kept shifting him to RWB.
Having said that, his injuries were an issue. Every time he'd find form for us, he'd get a big injury. He'd come back from the injury, take his sweet time getting back to the form he had, then just get another big injury. We did well to get £35-40M.
On Guendouzi though. He has quietly just turned into a regular first team starter now. Was classy yesterday, no one really picked up on it because it's the norm now.
He ain't perfect, would really like to see him influence the game more further forward at times. He certainly has the ability.

It's strange that he hated playing at RWB and wanted to play in central midfield. He had his most consistent run for us from RWB. He has some good qualities to play CM, but I always thought there was a certain nous and discipline and awareness he lacked to be playing in such a vital area.
Don't think it's strange he hated it, even if that was his best run of form for us.
Wenger insisted one day he'll play his favoured position in CM, and only played him there a few times in 7 years. You'd have to think Klopp promising him a central role was a big reason why he left.
