Personally I’d rather win two leagues but obviously everyone has a different opinion.

Not for me, certainly with the role Can played and the treatment Coutinho has had but they're not having bad careers are they.

I'd rather be a major part of a team that won a single trophy than a lesser part of a team that won multiple

Well that’s fair as I said everyone has their own opinion.

I’d rather see United win 2 leagues in the next 5 years than 1 CL.

Either are highly unlikely though.

Really? Surprised at that.

I’ve heard living in a beautiful city by the Med like Barcelona on 200+ grand a week can ease the pain of not living in Liverpool oh and Milan isn’t bad either

Can only left last summer. Can’t imagine he’s won two leagues since then

Yes. How come? There’s a time I’d have rather won a single CL but that was under SAF when we won the league every other season. Winning the league again is the biggest thing as a united fan but it’s still quite a bit away.

My mistake then. Thought he was gone for two years.

Which I think they'd readily exchange for a CL medal.

I am fully sure their subs bench medals and MASSIVE weekly wages are ample comps ration for the lack of green grass they've discovered.

have just recorded one of the best points haul ever in premier league /

What?
City won the title surely with more points than Liverpool are you saying it doesn’t count?
🙄
And OP, you seem to be so bitter
Lighten up ffs

coutinho has 2 la liga medals and 1 copa del Rey medal to add to his subs bench Italian cup.medal added to 250k per week at Barca.

can has 1 Serie A and 1 champions league subs medal for bayern. added to his approx 200k per week and 14mil signing on fee.

these bench warmers have done quite well for lads who never actually won anything themselves.

at least our seniors players can say they played a real part in something.

rhian brewster was schooled on the bus parade by of all people Richie partridge the physio who asked him how many times he played for Liverpool when he was being asked about being a cl winner. kid had no answer

Always the league for me. But would really enjoy a CL.

"One of the best". Not THE best.

if we had can we would not prob have got Keita. not sure.

if we had coutinho imo we wouldn't have the 75mil for vvd.

their greed was turned to our advantage.

imo we prob got alisson out of coutinho too.

Me too. The cL wins have been the most enjoyable times as a united fan but that’s because for most clubs cL wins are rare and it’s a bit of a lottery of a comp at times.

At this moment in time I’d rather a league. It proves you are the best team in the country.

The CL is indeed a lottery. Liverpool lost four games in the CL and won it. They lost one game in the Prem and didn`t win it. The Prem is infinitely harder to win than the CL in it`s current format.

As you say GB, the grass is not always greener, but it wont stop some players wanting to leave LFC for whatever reason.

Can never really had much affinity with the club and Cout was like most South American players who will always jump when Real or Barca come calling.

Must admit though it was a sweet moment when we beat Barca with Suarez and Cout in the team.

Spurs also lost 4 games on their way to the final.

Then they lost the final.

Looking back my two greatest memories as a United fan have been firstly winning the league the first time after a Liverpool like sabbatical under Fergie I was on the beach at Abersoch listening to Villa lose which gave us the title and it was like a just burst into tears moment and then being at the Camp Nou with my dad when we beat Bayern it was pandemonium when Ole scores the winner and European Cup is so special to us following Munich.
Under Fergie I know it sounds crazy but I think we got a bit apathetic about winning the league it was just something we expected another Lap of honour with our trophy, if it left it was only on loan for a year bit like Liverpool under Shanks and Paisley.
We’re two truest great clubs when you look at it no petro dollars, magnificent support good times or bad, up and downs but always relevant, guess it’s our turn now to appreciate success when it comes knocking again.
