And he earned a lot of more money at United. Lying cant

posted on 18/8/19

So when the two best teams in the country want to sign him he’s lying about moving to win the title, something he achieved?

posted on 18/8/19

Whatever his reasons, he was perfectly entitled to make the decision to leave and history shows it as a good decision.

Amazed that Arsenal fans are still hung up over it to be honest. Am sure you’d think nothing of a player stepping up to play for your club from someone else.

Yeah winning trophy and a new challenge was motive. Of course.....I believe him.

He wasn't an Arsenal fan. He supported a Dutch side as a kid. So the following scenario doesn't apply
---
"If I was playing for Arsenal the club I love and supported as a child, I was earning £100,000 a week, then Man United/Man City/Chelsea etc made an offer for me and were offering me £150,000 a week, I would reject it and stay at Arsenal."
---
Now let's change that scenario around a bit. Would the same poster have the same feeling if he were playing, say in Italy, for AC Milan. He's on 100k a week, highly rated, yet see his team declining year on year and then Juventus come in for him. Would he stay or go where he could not only get a wage rise (say 150k), and but also win a title and make that team have a great chance at winning the CL?

RVP is arrogant and selfish we paid him millions for most of his time at Arsenal which tbh was injured as soon as he got fit he jumped ship, sums up his character.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why should he stay when he has a chance to win trophies and earn more money elsewhere?

Would you stay in your current job in that scenario?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Current jobs salaries and football salaries are completely different but we shall look into things in a different scenario. If I was playing for Arsenal the club I love and supported as a child, I was earning £100,000 a week, then Man United/Man City/Chelsea etc made an offer for me and were offering me £150,000 a week, I would reject it and stay at Arsenal. I would only leave Arsenal if they decided I was surplus to requirements, made a decision to get rid of me or if I literally hardly never played. For me personally earning £7.8 million a year at Arsenal the club I love would be more then enough! I wanted be a greedyand move for more money and be a judas when I am already living the dream. I would also want to fight to win trophies with Arsenal rather then jumping ship to another team, winning trophies would mean a lot more to me doing that at a club I love instead of someone else. If I win nothing at Arsenal then so be it, I would be happy to have lived the dream.

And there’s your problem - expecting the same loyalty from a guy who grew up in Holland and is getting older, with limited chances to win the league and doesn’t see it happening at Arsenal.

Absolutely crazy for judging him, particularly seeing as hindsight shows he made a great decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The same can be said about Pogba he wants to leave and join a club who can win league titles but the difference is you’re forcing him to stay we as arsenal allowed him to for fill his dream.

Who cares one jot about what this guy thinks? The man ruled by the little boy inside him who told him to spend years bullying Ramsey before effing off to United.
