Btw. I know I'm £500 down if city win....but, that's worth a gamble in my eyes
If £500 is only £500, why not stick real money on both?
Taking Liverpool's odds of 5/2 (excluded Betways odds) and Man City's odds of 1/2 you have a 4.76% profit if either win the league.

Honestly reckon one of the smarter bets this term would be Raheem Stirling as top goalscorer
Put 2G on city and 1G on us and you can't lose anything assuming it's either a city / LFC win.
Your problem is that surprises happen in football. It almost certainly will be Liverpool or City as the rest of the league is a long way behind but the bookmaker always wins eventually
Sigh......
just put your house on city.
that way if we win you can be a happy homeless person.

Strange things happen in football.
In January 2016 my Spurs supporting work colleague put £2,000 on Tottenham to win the league, and he also "hedged" his bet by putting £1,000 on them to finish 2nd in what was a two horse race.
What could go wrong?

Classic
Remember reading about a Uni student who wacked his entire student loan (3k maybe) on a team to win at 3-0 up with 5 mins to to. He would've banked maybe £100 from the win.... final result 3-3.
Did he support Spurs as well?
God, they're stupid aren't they?

Yeah it happened to this guy at work who bet 1000 pounds which he had saved up towards going to new forest with his other half on Liverpool winning the title, when Brendan was the manager and before StevieG slippedππππ
Are they stupid or what?

Did this actually happen ?
I don't stick 1K on both City and Liverpool? Am I missing something?
Probably because you're a Steptoe and have holes in your asss pockets. I've always found, on the whole, the people who brag the most have the least.
