Even more disheartening for Lenny must be that the fans can see the issues stemming from the board but he's getting the blame for it now, they want rid of him.
Not his fault he realised before Tuesday that Julien and Boli were schite and it would have been a bigger risk playing them. Unless of course he signs the players but not sure that is the case.

fwiw, I think you have to stand by him and let him make his mark on the club.
But he must know he can't afford any more slip ups. It has felt from the start he's on borrowed time.
If you were to fall behind Rangers, and for it to be bigger than 3 points, it's hard to see how he'd be able to survive because too many of the fans have the knives out - quite understandably.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite understandably FFS
The man is a club legend, former captain, managed the club to title after title, guided them as deep into the CL as they have ever been and after a single defeat it's quite understandable the fans have the knives out.
A total lack of respect towards a club legend who deserves as long as he needs to get them going. He's earned it, he started this journey.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With all due respect mate, that's absolute nonsense.
He is, in reality, a manager who has clear failings and most recently led Hibs to 8th place, upon which he was sacked because he lost his dressing room. He has shown very little since leaving Celtic the first time round that he is deserving of managing the club.
Add to that the perception that he's a yes man, that he's signed boys then bombed them out for the biggest games and he's shown a tactical naivety to cost the club CL football (and to follow that up with a result that I would consider poor for Dundee United, never mind Celtic) then it's a perfect storm of negativity that he is at the centre of.
I feel a wee bit of sympathy for him in that he should never have been put in this position because he should never have been given the job in the first place.
I'm told Jullien and Boli were both honking at the weekend

He's proven he can manage Celtic and been more successful at it than most have ever been. I think his win percentage is the best ever.
One defeat and we are already at this stage where fans are calling for him to be sacked is outrageous. Especially when the signings he didn't play are both bombscares.
I actually feel for him....well i don't but i could see how a non Tim might.
he's in exactly the same position any old firm manager is always in
one bad result away from going from hero to zero
Lenny has been a great servant to the club, what a shameful way to treat a club legend, shame on you all.
Mon the barrel hoops
Gerrard hero at new year after beating Celtic, a zero a few weeks later after losing to Killie
it comes with the job, it's the manner we've capitulated in the last week which is worrying

To be fair Joe Worrall quite rightly copped most of the flak for the Killie defeat.
Big numpty that he was.
Our support is quickly turning into the same as the rangers fans of the 90's. Spoilt by success.
I wouldn't get too concerned about Rangers. Regardless of how bad Lenny is, Gerrard will still fack up the league just as he did last year even though he had the top class Cool Billy and Ross McCrorie.
All the Lenny must stay stuff from the bears is brilliant when you've had Warbs, Pedro and steamboats for your last three managers

the last minute goal at Kilmarnock is more significant than the 2 games they humped us in last season
imo it shows that they've turned a corner domestically, yes the European results have been good but they were just as impressive in Europe last season at this stage
