Another thing, several media outlets confirmed we've signed that Irish boy who got released from Southampton.
Celtic will announce him on 2nd of September, certainty.
DEADLINE DAY SIGNING.
Flucking die!
With the amount of on line abuse for Lenny after one defeat, you’d think Celtic were an EPL team who will sack their manager just as the season begins
Feels exactly like it did when Deila's reign was coming to an end.....and this is just the start Discontent is high. Think everyone was sick of Lennon the first time round aswell by the time he left so this is playing even more prominently in the feelings

All of this could have been avoided had he not played McGregor at left back.
Warning signs were there from last season though.
The fact is, our board didn’t do their job properly when they went into the showers at Hampden and offered a guy washing his ginger pubes with Green mint tea shower gel the job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I quite like that shower gel gives you a nice tingle down there and up your hole

Celtic are still firm favourites for the title no doubts about it.
Rangers must be fookin rank rotten then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really.
The team we have has no history of winning anything. And we are up against a team who has won every domestic trophy going for three years.
That alone makes you favourites.
Yes the gap has closed a bit in terms of squad quality IMO. And yes we are more than capable of beating celtic on our day.
But it will more likely come down to which of the two teams throws away fewer daft points away to Livvy or up at Pittodrie etc. We haven't shown we can be the team that does that yet.
The options we have in the squad are far better than last season. And Gerrard will have learnt a lot from his first season which will help us.
And for me Celtic have 3 main issues;
1. Lennon is in charge and no matter what you say about him he is a massive downgrade on Brendan Rodgers
2. Brown will start most games
3. Your defence seems a bit of a concern
But whether that is enough to shift it in our favour over the course of the season only time will tell.

It's too early to talk about favourites for the title but i think the discontent amongst the Celtic support says a lot for where we are at.
The next 14 days are absolutely crucial for the club.

I can see why he played the team he did on Saturday. Wanted a big win.
does this mean that the likes of Shved, Bayo etc aren't deemed good enough to beat teams like Dunfermline?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No mate
Just think he went with the tried and trusted model is all.
Lennon is taking abuse because he is a f...ing idiot.
see if he came out and said "i got it wrong" i'd accept it, i'd be ragin still but i would understand that he could see where the issue was.
he doesn't though and keeps talking absolute schite instead.
its worrying for people and rightfully so.
but hey "KEEP RA FAITH" "AH MIND RA NINETIES!"
Bet yer arsse alot of the players don't want him there either.
" Lennon is taking abuse because he is a f...ing idiot."
This season's league was always going to be tight as Rangers are probably now good enough to beat everyone else consistently and the teams they always had bother with namely Aberdeen,Killie and Hibs have all gone backwards .Add to that the fact that the OF games are pretty much home bankers now due to the away support being ridiculously cut ,makes for a very tight race.Personally i still don't see too many Rangers players i would want in our squad but things were always going to be tight due to the reasons listed.Much as i dont like Lennon as a manager he does have far more experience as a manager than Slippy G and im still confident that we will get there.

I feel like I'm repeating everything I was saying to my mates when he got the job
does anyone remember how bad we were in his last season, lost out in both cups in home ties against Morton(Saturday had that feeling too it) and Aberdeen when both finals were due to be played at Celtic Park, the football was god awful, there was about 40k at league matches
he went on to manage Bolton and hibs sacked from both and ends up leading us in our biggest season for 20 years
read that out loud troops and once again let it sink in
its not the loss thats annoying me rats, its the lack of preperation and his post match comments.
the match is done, but if he thinks those tactics were ok then thats a problem.
If it had went to pens on Saturday and we lost....I reckon we'd have had at least some sort of statement put out. That's how fine the margins are
He said on Friday there was a doubt on Johnston because he was fatigued yet he played 120mins I genuinely think he's clueless.

Had anyone said that before Cluj i'd have shot them down as plenty of players looked to be playing out their skin, more so than ever.
Interesting to see if that's still the case on Thursday & Sunday.

I did read a quote from Lennon saying 'sometimes the players just don't do what you tell them' in relation to midweek. And then tried to save himself by babbling something quickly about taking collective responsibility.
The on pitch Phil Brown-esque huddle looked to me like a bit of a desperate attempt from Lennon to keep things together after basically slagging his players off for midweek when he clearly should have been shouldering the blame.
If I was a player in that huddle listening to Lennon giving it some 'we are all in this together' pash I would just be sitting there thinking 'aye when it suits you ya wee diick'.
He said on Friday there was a doubt on Johnston because he was fatigued yet he played 120mins I genuinely think he's clueless.
