RB was a major issue - we didn't have one! CB a lesser issue based numbers but with the way we're now playing out from the back, Maguire makes a lot of sense. We look assured.
But midfield definitely was the biggest issue overall. I fail to see how sorting out the defence should infringe upon our ability to sort midfield. It's not as if we'd already made 5 or 6 signings by the time it came to get a midfielder...
Midfield will possibly be our downfall, but as I've said a few times, I don't really mind what happens this season as long as we see a concerted effort to get the young players into the match day squads and first team.
We've got Palace at home and Southampton away in the next couple of games. I'd like to see Greenwood get more minutes across those fixtures and Gomes at least make the bench.

I only saw the dive by james that led to the yellow card because i started watching just before that. Thereafter i did not see any other dives.

I only saw the dive by james that led to the yellow card because i started watching just before that. Thereafter i did not see any other dives.

We can only talk about dives if they were punished by a yellow card.
