Not exactly, if I thought he shouldn't be in the starting XI I would also be removing him from my FF. But he's shown over the summer friendlies and recent game(s) that he can contribute to the team.
Just read back what you've said... he was more effective against a newly promoted side than he was against the reigning champions.

He has also said he doesn't want to leave to just any old club and if nothing comes during the transfer window he's happy to stay at Spurs.
He just wants a change of scenery and new challenge. Literally makes no sense paying him to not play when he remains our best playmaker.

decent move tbf, keep him in until his injury then just sub him out with your weekly free transfer
poch likes lamela so he will see a lot of minutes
just dont see how eriksen, son, lucas and kane dont play. lots of problems to have but we've already seen after 2 games how poch has picked the wrong players in the wrong games, despite walking away with 4 points(getting away with it in both games, less extent vs villa)

lucas - thrive in games like the city one, we need pace
eriksen - picks locks in the defences of the weaker sides when we are dominating games
The curious case of Erik Lamela!
I much prefer when he comes off the bench, I think he always plays better.
He was decent against City but like a lot of what posters are saying he is very one footed and lacks pace for imo to be a great player.
He is a good squad player, as you know he will always work his nuts off for the team.
At the same time he could have cost us a penalty ten minutes into the game with the wrestling move.
So I would have him on the bench. I would probably think Son will start on the bench as well.
Regarding Lo Celso when he came on for some reason he reminded me of Rebrov (his build) which scared me a little! Hopefully he turns out to be better!
A surprise squad inclusion for me is Skipp who seems to get the nod on the bench in front of Dier and Wanyama.
For the record... I don't hate Lamela... I just dont trust him... Squad/ Bench player.. totally fine. One of the reasons we haven't progressed over the past few years is that we haven't been able to upgrade guys like him. Now we have..... Lets give it a try.... Both lamela & Sissoko are fine to be in the squad but our new signings have been brought in to improve upon them.... Far too much blind loyalty/ love to some of our players who simply don't deserve it

Lamela has always been hindered by injuries. He's been very good in pre-season and has contributed against City with a great delivery and goal. You call it a strange goal but that's brilliant awareness and placement. He should be starting and getting the game time.
GLC to be transitioned with progressively more minutes and Eriksen as I've stated needs to be treated as he's always been. We should work under the assumption that he's our player until otherwise which is the case anyway.
Tough decisions for Pochettino but these are the 'good problems' managers like to have.
