At least AWB will be playing for us this time.
Yes, I'd be happy with that. I think it's probably the best we can put out at the moment. No real hurry but I would like Greenwood and Gomes to get a chance reasonably soon. It would be good for them to have a bit of experience, if we have injuries we have a better idea what they can do.

Apparently we played Sheffield United in a friendly tonight and Ravel Morrison played too (for Sheffield) - was a bit of a reunion - Pogba was there

Fred's best, possibly only good, couple of games came in the CL last year. It might just be that the pace of the PL is something he can't adapt to. But I'd still like to see him given more opportunities to prove it, one way or the other. As our midfield isn't exactly dynamic or dominating as it is

Regarding Fred - I think his nadir came in that 4-0 loss to Everton. Can’t think of many worse performances.

Gomes, Greenwood and Pereira with the goals apparently. Must be a kick in the nuts for Ravel seeing Pogba and comparing how their careers have diverged since they last shared a pitch.
Fred needs a chance to try and gain some form at United otherwise it’s never gonna happen. He doesn’t look much cop but he does actually pass the ball forward, which a lot of our players struggle with.
A must win
We looked more menacing going forward at the Moulinex, but struggled to create chances in the box. Andreas Pereira certainly to take after Lingard.
Palace will sit deep at OT and look to counter with the pace of Zaha, Gary Cahill will also be among the startups.
Rashford to take any penalty this coming Sat.

What I should have added to this is that against teams that sit deep it is pointless having Pogba acting as a QB to spray out passes to the speedsters as they don't have the space to use their advantage.
Pogba was most effective against Wolves when he was driving towards their box.
