Well that is not strictly true mate, if that was the case, then why are Unions under completely different rules to the Brexit vote. If you want to withdraw your labour under this Government`s rules, you need something like 65 per cent voting for, which is completely at odds with democracy. So I don`t personally take a lot of notice of votes, because there are different rules for different elections. Our Prime Minister has been voted in by less than 1 per cent of the population. How undemocratic is that?
—————————-
Now you know that is not correct Sandy
In the UK we vote for Parties, who then have the right to choose a leader and we never vote an individual in as PM.
Again you conveniently forget how Brown became PM, we might not like the current system, but it is what it is!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry mate, but I thought the Brown Election was wrong as well. Anybody that wants to become Prime Minister should put himself forward to the whole country. Total nonsense as it stands. Also all MPs should have to put themselves up for relection every five years. Most are in safe seats for life, which is absolutely anything but democratic.
At least in the USA Trump will only last eight years maximum, so even at the worse, just a little over four years left of that idiot.

Corbyn destroyed the Conservative Majority and garnered 40 per cent of the vote. He also has the biggest mandate of any Leader currently leading their Party. So I think we will keep him thanks very much.
He is now on this third Tory Leader, about half a dozen Brexit Secretaries and about 100 UKIP Leaders. So I don`t think he is the one that cannot lead.
Who’s your type of PM?

sizzle again assuming that anyone who disagrees with him is a right wing racist
Just to let you know I wouldn’t pee on Robinson if he was on fire
Sandy
You and everyone else knows Corbyn is just McDonnell and McCluskey’s puppet.
I wouldn’t mind betting that in the unlikely event Corbyn ever got elected, he would be replaced in less than a year
But not a puppet of Rupert Murdoch, the right wing press and big business, like every Tory PM.
Besides, it’s Dominic “Gollum” Cummins who is running this country right now.

Just got back from the Edinburgh Fringe, quite surprisingly Nicola Sturgeon is far from popular in Scotland, especially as the SNP are struggling with the economy in Scotland at present.
Latest reports are that if that if Scotland left the U.K. tomorrow, they would have a £12.6 billion deficit, this would be worth around 7% of GDP, the worst in Europe.
According to the latest Government Expenditure & Revenue Scotland (GERS) public spending in Scotland over the past year has grown to £1661, add also the fact that Scots contribute £307 less per person to government coffers, meaning the “Union dividend” is worth £1968 a year to every adult and child up there.
Sort of blows Sturgeon’s suggestion that Scotland would be more prosperous going independent, right out of the water!

Hmmm, how I speak to people doesn’t really compare to having my rights and freedoms snatched away, having friends that are EU citizens being treated like absolute sh*t by our racist government, dying before I can retire and having to pay to use the NHS after it’s been sold to Donald Trump.
How do you expect me to behave?
People who vote Tory and voted Brexit not only loathe foreigners, they loathe their own citizens.

What a very sad outlook you have on life
Personally, I get on very well with people from many different countries. Unlike you, I have lived in several different countries around the World, and away from politics find the people engaging and extremely warm and hospitable.
Just because people vote differently does not mean they are different from anyone else.
Just for your information, did you know the U.K. has had over £5.5billion of NEW investment already this year?
Fear mongering is what you and other remainers thrive on, you cannot bear the thought that you might actually be wrong about Brexit.
The truth is that no one knows really what will happen after October 31st.
Yes, it might be difficult in the first few months, it might not. I don’t know and neither do you!
