Only 3 years older than me. No age at all. Rest easy Junior.
Extremely sad and at such s you age π
Thoughts and condolences go towards his family and friends at this tragic time
Really sad news. Always looked so happy when in the pitch for the Reds. Scored some important goals to help get Forest promoted. Celebrated royally when promotion was won on the last day of that season. .
Always sad when you go at such a young age. I understand he suffered a stroke and had been ill for some time?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes that seems to be the case View
I kinda know how it feels
The reason I’ve been away from here for the past 2 years, was because I suffered 2 back to back strokes in January 2017
Whilst I’ve recovered really well physically, the old brain/memory was somewhat affected, which meant that I had to give up work, so was retired on medical grounds in October 2017
So the Rev is now an ex-Rev
However, my memory isn’t that bad, that I can’t still remember what those 2 little mean

You're joking?
Sorry to hear that - seriously, some things are bigger than Florest - well a lot of things
Damn! and you still remember the two stars.
Look, I hope you make a full recovery . My mum suffered a stroke and even at the age of 75 still keeps all her kids in order and demanded l run the Derby 10k to raise funds for the stroke ward at the Derby Royal who looked after her.
Nice to have you back but please come onto the Derby Match Thread - if only to let us give you abuse

Mate I’m not joking, but as I say, it’s no where near as bad as it could have been - but at 49 it was a bit of a shock to say the least
To really lay on the sympathy, my old Dad passed away this morning after suffering for the last 10 years with Dementia - sad day all round really π₯
He was one of the few people in life that saw his beloved team win every major honour there was going
The League, the FA Cup, League Cup & European Cup
RIP Dad x

Obviously saddened by the news of Juniors death at such a young age
Also shocked by your news too Rev! glad to hear that you've made a nearly full recovery; the match threads really need a new author, I've been in the hotseat for too long!
I said last season that I wasn't doing any more, just filled in sometimes when no one else did it.
And kind words from Mr View!

Bad time all round Rev'
Like retired Colonel's you will always carry your rank with you?
Thanks guys
Bear you’ve done a great job with the threads, I still popped on every so often over the past few years even though I never commented

Rev, Very sorry to hear your news. Best wishes to you and your family.
Rev, really sad to hear that news about you. I knew there would be a good reason for you taking a break. Hope you’re feeling a lot better and the Reds will give you something to cheer about properly this season.
Sad news about your Dad, Rev. I'm 70 this year and like him have seen our fantastic club win every major honour going. Take care yourself.
Cheers Stan - hope you’ve got a good more few years ahead of you mate
Maybe. we might even squeeze a 3rd European Cup in there?
I think that's wishful thinking unfortunately Rev; just imagine trying to keep hold of players like Shilton, Tony Woodcock & John Robertson nowadays with their agents whispering how much is on offer else where.
I believe in miracles! π
