Why Clarke missed out

Did you just insist on a loan back just to stop Spurs loaning him to a rival? Seems strange for a kid already settled at Leeds would be in this situation.

Fair point DJ.

Clarke lost a bit of form in the latter part of the season but was expecting him to play a similar role... will only get that form back if he's on the pitch

If Clarke isnt good enough to get on the bench then he shouldn't be there

Yeah Clarke shouldn't miss out because of a youngster on loan from France imo. Id say look after our own but Clarke isn't ours.

Bielsa had watched both players and decided otherwise. As I said, if he's good enough he will be there.

The youngster from France has more chance of being here next year then some youngster spurs have just spent ten million on.

If Bielsa dosent think he is good enough then he shouldn’t be in the squad.

Why do we need Clarke in the squad anyway?

I’m a regular match squad we would have Dallas, alioski, costa and Harrison all of which can play there.

Clarke haven’t showed anything in months now and even if he was still our player he would be struggling to make the squad

My view is that Jack Clarke will prove to be another Tom Taiwo or Michael Woods, very badly advised by those around him and destined to make little impact at Spurs. Should be a valuable lesson to those players in and around the squad that sometimes a delay on that glamour move would be to your advantage.
Not good enough for us at present and if we could I would say send him back to Spurs we don't need him.
