Spurs transfer policy is truely dreadful

Im sure they were signed in the hope they were injured straight away

A few expected Spurs to push on as you say, but cant really see it going any different for me, still struggle for 4th, transfer window all show.

Its known as the "Levy curse".
Wait till the last moment of the transfer window.......what happens? The new player shows up just before kickoff! No time to train and slot in to the system.

Edward, I have always been a big supporter of Levy, but I really thought we were going to buy two or three players that would go straight into the first team from the off. All we seem to have done is bolstered up the squad with another load of sick notes.

Really is very poor.

How Dare levy not predict that Ndombele was going to get a minor injury

He'll probably sell Eriksen over the weekend just to disrupt things further

Not just Ndombele though is it, Sessignon was injured when we brought him, and Lo Celso is not up to fitness levels. Spurs needed players to be ready for the off, not maybe be ready a couple of months in.

It’s a good time to get injuries out of the way 👍
I think some injuries are caused by the pAce of the premier league. Lots of new players from the foreign leagues get some form of injuries when they start.

Nice to see you’re keeping your promise to bash Levy for anything that goes wrong at the club 😂

The LoCelso delay was all about cutting PSG out of cash in the deal... money first, football second

I share everyone's frustration, but to be fair, Ndombele has played every game since coming to us and, like everyone else who joins a PL team, has to get used to the pace ./ physical side of things. It sounds like a slight injury, which will happen. No point in risking him in a game that is by no means one of our toughest.

We knew Sessignon was injured when he was signed, and to be honest is only one of our available LB's and not guaranteed to go straight into the first team anyway.

Le Celso though, have to admit, a bit surprised that he is still not considered "up to it" at the moment, given he was match fit when signed, and has had at least two weeks to train further with the first team squad since. Sometimes you need to just "chuck them in" and they have to learn quickly. If Eriksen leaves, which could happen quickly, would have to do that anyway. So do it while there is still an alternative if it goes wrong during a game.

If they ain't ready this week, you can hardly throw them in against the gooners next weekend, maybe he will

posted on 23/8/19

Lo Celso hardly had a summer break and does not need to be rushed into the team. Lets cut the lad some slack and let him settle into life in the UK.

Poch probably expects Newcastle and Brice to be too physical for Lo Celso first game so saving him for a game where it will be more about technical qualities 👍

Poch is managing the games f🙄

I'll be honest Sandy I lost patience with Levy years ago, lea be honest all the time his in charge , we ain't winning nothing. We need an owner like City's. Bollox to all this sentimental shart about buying the league.

Newcastle game will be all about 11 men defending and kicking the daylight out of Kane , Son and Lamela 👍
That’s Bruce

I suspect there’ll be few VAR interventions too 😂

As long as there in out favour it's all good , I wonder how long Kane will take to injure his ankle?

But if he brought players at the start of the summer then he'd have to pay their wages whilst they sat around on holiday.

Smart man is Levy

Kane’s wised up a bit thoug after that stupid all out tackle with Delph last year
Noticed he let few 50-50 goes as it wasn’t worth getting injured for
Hopefully he’s learnt to pick and choose his moments
Tackling is for Sissoko to do

We need to have plan B for Sunday maybe long diagonal balls to wing backs and quick tempo

None of that side to side play

Sandy come on mate. This is a ridiculous rant.

Ndombele has gone straight into the team. But he has an injury.

Lo Celso will when he is up to the pace of the league. Give the guy a couple of weeks!

Sessegnon will be competing for LB when he is fit.

This is ridiculous.

Clarke was never bought for this season, so irrelevant.

Ndombele was bought early for a club record fee, had pre season with us, has a goal and an assist to his name in two PL matches. He has a minor thigh niggle so will sit this weekend out.

Lo Celso was at the CopaAmerica all summer, so the point at which we bought him was irrelevant as he would still have had to finish up there, then have a break. He’s fit and training with the squad, but has only been with us 2 weeks. We could’ve bought him in May, and he’d still have only been with us 2 weeks.

Sessegnon has a hamstring injury. We knew that. He’s a 19 year old with a high ceiling that could be with us for 10 years, should we have not bought him because he was gonna miss the first 5 or 6 games of this season? Of course not.

Pull yourselves together.
