I was really annoyed at conceding in both our recent games against City in the last minute, something that felt so quintessentially Spursy at the time, only for VAR to rescue me from fits of anger at each.

Last minute goals against big teams that lose you the match are always the worst for me. I can take big losses more, even if on record they are worse, because I'm already disappointed early on and have accepted defeat by then.

LMG and Spurs seem to be a thing of ours lately.

I dunno, I would say early goals are just as much a thing for Spurs, when facing the top teams.

CL final. Hadn't been feeling great for a few weeks before and was signed off work. Was starting to feel better and went to Madrid and had a superb seat. Had hope (which we all know is what gets you in the end). Then 1 down after a few mins and not really looking threatening for the rest. The biggest game the club has ever been involved in and it was like we didn't treat it as such. Not ashamed to admit I felt quite emotional leaving the stadium.

The City 4-3 loss is the angriest iv ever been with football.

Can't appreciate the good times without the bad.

Lloris letting Sanchez half hit effort bobble through his hands to give 10 man Arsenal a draw at the Lane. We would of gone top if we'd won that game.

Arsenal winning the title at WHL ( twice ). Really low moments, especially the second time.

Losing to Coventry in 1987 Cup Final. We were such favorites for that one, and was the first FA Cup final we had lost, ever.

Last year's CL final. Never get a better chance to win it, and never watch a single minute back over again, and never read a single article on it, blocked it from my memory the second the final whistle went.the final minute

I asked a similar question to a Spurs mate.
He said the 1987 League Cup semi final replay in which Spurs were 1-0 up with 8 minutes to go and managed to fack it up by losing 2-1 to Arsenal. What made it worse waz that Arsenal beat Liverpool in the final giving them their first trophy in 8 years. My mate held Spurs responsible for that.

The above and the treachery of Sol Campbell
The anger levels were just as bad as they were in 1987 for him which is understandable. He felt like his wfife had cheated on him

Losing the semifinals of fa cup v Portsmouth knowing the final would’ve been a easy one.

Pretty much every semi in the last 10 years that we didn’t turn up to.

Have to say, the CL final has done me some damage.

I’m 38. I’ve seen the absolute dross and I have to say the Jol era really gave me hope. I think because we’ve made amazing strides forward, you kind of hope we’ll take another ‘next step’ but that is now so huge that I know we never will.

But that display in CL final was criminal.

We are ArsenalšŸ˜³

But they would pint out that they won a few cups whilst also maintaining Top4 but never actually challenging (which is what I think we are now)

5th September 1970. Trudging out of the Arsenal stadium in the rain. Lost 2 nil to two George Armstrong goals, switched on the tranny to get the other scores and heard that Jochen Rindt had been killed at Monza

Really great to hear such varied experiences. Some of the more obvious ones in there, but also some one off games that appear very personal. Fair play.
