I think it was really close to completion during the Wycombe game, where Brittan stated she would speak at the Coventry game. That is the only time FV have spoken publicly.

Still hoping kamani brothers get it mega rich. Nixon keeps banging on there are still 2 bidders for the hotel. Kamanis and fv. Kamanis will use the hotel as a back door way to buy the club if successful.

Not sure Boohoo have a chance, even on the hotel, unless FV drop out altogether.
Then boohoo get everything and sell the club to bassini.
None of the scenarios look great at this point in time.

No Alan Houghton spottings since wycombe. Usually see him in the harvester drinking Doom bar. Not yesterday.

I still don't see 2 separate owners.

What we end up with, and what would work, could be totally different things.
Anything can happen in the next 2 weeks, and I am fed up of trying to guess what is going on.

Paul Appleton isn't doing very well in his attempt to rebuild his reputation after Coventry is he its. We could end up with any combination of consortium and deals if we actually get to an end.

Exiled, We had a great night thanks. It was the last out with the family as they went home yesterday. We have had just over a month when we have had family over, so although it's great to have them staying with us, It been a month of eating out and I have put on a few pounds. Now comes the hard work of getting it off.

I see Anderson is the culprit regarding the delay. I knew the story about his solicitor not being available was a red herring.

Everything is up in the air again. I had a feeling that this pantomime was set to continue. Anderson never had the clubs future at heart, I believe he just saw it as a way to may some easy cash. Whether that has been the case or not, I'm not sure. He certainly hasn't left the club in a good situation and he seems determined to make it worse.

You can't even enjoy your bank holiday without bad news coming through. Always going to come to this at some stage. Presume whatever money was in there has run out and can't pay the staff. Said weeks ago everyone has to accept what is on the table. Everyone seems to have except one greedy and vindictive person who should never have got his hands on the club. Reform next season at the bottom rung of the football pyramid seems to be the only option now. Where are the trust in all this btw? Just hoping Appleton is a good poker player here and calling andersons bluff.

Appleton and the admin teams needs to grow a pair and use the powers he's been granted there's no reason or logic for Anderson to demand the EDT waive any right to any money they are owed by him or the club and Anderson has no right to demand such a substantial fee for signing it all off.
Get a judge to sign for Anderson if he won't do it himself they have the powers if Ken loses more than was on the table we wouldn't laugh.

A lot of this does not add up at all. Why haven't football ventures position of preferred bidder not been lifted? What have the administrators been doing? Only seem to react at a cricis. Had weeks to sell the club. They are as much to blame as anyone.

Ken Anderson has apparently approached Jim white on talk sport and is confident the club will be saved.

I can't see what Anderson will gain from the club being forced into administration. It's about time that he faced the truth. If the administrators say that every party has signed except for Anderson's legal people, that is the word that I accept.

“At 5pm on Friday August 23, the completion of the sale of the football club and the hotel had been agreed by all parties and undertakings had been issued by all solicitors except those of Ken Anderson".

That is clear enough for me.

No one can blame FVWL for not living up to their willingness to buy the club. They have been shafted by Bassini and Anderson throughout the whole process. Throw in the problems with the Hotel and I'm surprised that they are still interested in taking the club on.
