You take any win at this point in the season but once again I fail to be impressed by us.

Rodgers defensive subs just seemed to be throwing on defensive players. Need to be cuter than that. Ranieri was the master of closing a game out with a tactical sub.

But points on the board now and time for Rodgers to work with the squad to improve it.

We didn't have much shape or flow in the game and midfield 3 didn't influence it much as a unit

To be fair I wasn’t watching the game and going on comments, but felt like we put ourselves under unnecessary pressure and lost the midfield battle after the subs.

Could be wrong of course.

Last time we started this well we Won the League, just saying!

Can’t really complain at the results so far but performances are a concern. Playing like we did today will get us another 9th place finish - I think Sheff Utd could count themselves unfortunate to have lost.

Vardy had 8 touches of the ball in the first half (but scored) - we are at times quite similar to us under Puel. We do need to pick the performances up to move on as a side

We always started slowly under Rodgers so I wouldn't read much into that. He'll fancy winning a cup and top six I reckon.

A little disjointed display, but let’s not underestimate what a tough game that was for us. Bramall Lane was bouncing and their confidence still overflowing from their promotion..... I thought the fight and spirit we showed to a man got us through this game and ultimately the 3 points. Hamza was a colossus in that midfield. He was everywhere. So many interceptions made. Another big show too from Soyuncu and fantastic cameo from big Wes. Vardy did what he does.....gets a chance and scores and what a screamer from Harvey! 3 points...we take it and move on. Geordies on Wednesday. Hoping Benkovic gets a 90 Min run out

Second that and bringing on Wes reminds me of Kompany for Man City! Great sub......

Watching the Sheff Utd goal yesterday, I can totally understand why Rodgers brought Wes on. If you’re doing well except for one glaring weakness, you have to do something about that weakness.
