Yeah shot ourselves in the foot again. We weren’t terrible, and could have scored 1 more. Liverpool just a better team. There’s positives to take out, but disappointed we mostly lost to errors again

Most of watched a different game, we played on the counter, caused you a lot of problems first half which Pepe should have had a couple. Granted In the 2nd half after the pen you blew us away but before that it was an even game. Top side though, respect.

Arsenal are a good team. I wouldn't judge them too much off today. Liverpool just blew them away. Think the gooners will be 3rd

Agreed. It was anyone's game until that header. Pepe let us down rushing that one on one. They're a better side no doubt.

The luiz mistake killed us really, our players heads dropped. Which isn’t great, But they did pull themselves a bit again. If luiz didn’t pull a shirt we’d have stood a chance of a draw/ narrow defeat. Our counter was causing issues. Our defending wasn’t too crap overall, and I’ve seen us far worse on that department. But as usual we had bad moments which was punished. There was positives as well, but overall Liverpool are just a better side than us. Luckily we won’t have to play sides that good every week. Need to learn from it, move on and beat spurs next week!

Calm down it’s still early even if we won I won’t be that excited yet we are work in progress no need for knee jerk issues.

Scoreline didn’t flatter anybody. It was a 3-1 game

Has Torriera been injured? How Xhaka gets in the team before him I don't know. Surprised you didn't play Ceballos though.

Better sides?

I can only think of City who are better and that's only just.

They could have scored a few more however we could also have scored a few more.

One might argue if only Pepe had scored that early, "easy" chance.....
However, this Arsenal team showed little imagination, energy or passion and, as another contributor stated, Emery appears to be a dud. He lacks tactical skills! It appeared to me that at the end Arsenal was running out the clock and happy to not have been humiliated, plus the defensive marking on the first goal was pathetic. The Gunners could really us someone like Zaha to inject some excitement into this team.

Arsenal will win plenty of games. I'm starting to think that this Liverpool side really are very good.

There was some stat that said Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 40 games at Anfield or something like that.

Expecting a result today was unrealistic, but I did expect a better performance than what we got.

Unfortunately though, I think we simply don’t have the quality/personnel to perfect the tactics Emery wanted against a very good Liverpool side at Anfield.

Their players and manager are better than ours. Ultimately, that’s why they won.

Not much else we could have done.

And I suppose most of us expected 0 points before the game and that’s precisely what we got.

We need to beat Spurs next week though.
