I agree but it's been a mental two years for him. In fact it's to be expected really given the level he was playing at. Still worked his bollox off though

Their tactics were suicidal, leaving the fullbacks of Liverpool free and hoping to squeeze the CBs?
But they were so awful, the front three of Liverpool could have and should have scored a hat-trick each
They were making cross box passes which is a crazy thing to do when Liverpool players press very quickly.
Saying that, Pepe was great and should have scored one goal at least.

We had both full backs snd both wingers as easy out ball every single move today. They flogged themselves.

How did he manage 23 goals last season if his finishing is so poor? Very odd thing to say based on that.
He will do very well this season for arsenal. I expect him to get at least 15 this season.
I would have loved him to join is, but £70+ million for backup to Mane and Salah is too much.
He will be off to Real or Barca in two or three years.

Klopp said before the game it is hard to analyse our opponents before hand as nearly all of then change their approach and tactics against us. I mean they used a diamond yesterday which indent think they have played before with Emery. City also change their approach against us.

There’s a reason why our fullbacks get so many assists other than just being good full backs. It’s called a system.
Trent got into a good position so many times yesterday and the majority were poor. That’s objectively true regardless of whether he got an assist.
Metro, your dislike (or your Brother's ) of Trent has been visible since he first started getting games in the first team. You, or your Brother , have repeatedly hammered him.
His final ball yesterday wasn't great, but you should listen to what the manager had to say. He highlighted at half time to the forwards needed to split their runs. Our fullbacks, even with a the space afforded to them had little to hit at times in the first half.
Criticism of Trent s defending, particularly his positioning and occasional switching off is far more valid, rather than the one area of his game which is genuinely world class, namely his quite superb passing and crossing.

I have no dislike of the lad.
I thought he had a weak start to last season and I’m seeing similar signs this season too.
I pointed out his final ball because in a Klopp system, the fullbacks are the wingers as well as the defenders.
I’m pretty happy to state that I’m a Trent fan. I prefer Robertson as I think there’s more to his game and he’s more consistent.
The general consensus on Trent so far this year is that he must improve. That’s not a contentious point - although T1 has an issue with it.
He peaked last season...now it's about consistency.
