Will take time for ole to get it right. The directions right, and look at James, been great since he cane in and for 15m too. Ed take note, get good scouts.

Think James looked better on the left

Of course it will take time but we still had a good enough team to beat Palace. I hope Lingard gets dropped and we play with a proper CAM or three man midfield

Such is the state of our squad that we're going to have a few games like that this season I'm afraid. People better get used to it.

But to be honest, Ole is the first manager post-Fergie who's philosophies I really buy into. Ride out the storm of this season and I think we'll be OK.

You conceded two goals against a team that were recently nicknamed Crystal Palace nil, I'm not sure your issue is in attack. Lindelof is poor, Shaw a sick note and why anybody, never mind three managers in a row, thinks it's a good idea to play Ashley Young at left back is beyond me.

On a positive note, I thought Mctominay was very good. I see him being slated a lot on here but he looks a player to me.

Lingard is pretty useless vast majority of the time

It was clear we would struggle the moment the transfer window closed. Sounds ridiculous but we can’t afford to get rid of Sanchez. Our attack is so one dimensional. Our midfield, well the less said about that the better.
Massive mistake by the club not to bring at least two attacking midfielders/attackers

You cant expect to sign five players of the right quality in one winDow really. I reckon Utd are waiting for Sancho next summer.

You can expect to sign more than two. We have spent a net of 65m so far without anymore sales. Pathetic considering the state we are in and the money we make

I think you're being a bit hard on it really. It's better to get the right players (it's reported Utd simply didn't fancy Fernandes) and buying loads at once can be destabilising.

There were apparently dressing room issues, I've said before that I think Maguire was bought as much for what he brings off the field as on it, and Utd were getting mugged off in the transfer market for fees and wages as well. To break that cycle will take time and long term it's the right way to go.

Saying that I think Utd will have a fair few games like today and I don't think Ole is the right man. He might be to get through this season though if that makes sense.

It was a negligent transfer window. We’ll be facing the same issues we’ve had for six years yet again this coming season.

Thought McTominay did well again. Gave the ball away a couple of times but that’s not abnormal when you’re involved so much. Young was arguably our best player today - genuinely.

No part of the side is perfect - far from it - but attack has been an issue these last two games. Too predictable and one-dimensional.

I thought James was by far and away our best player today. Lindelof was poor on their goal and whilst I rate him as a decent centre-back, it's the same goal he gave away against Huddersfield in another embarrassing defeat two years ago. He has to get the basics right and serial duals are as basic as it gets for a centre back.

The biggest issue was a total lack of creativity though. Their keeper didn't make a single save in the entire game. Embarrassing

Your attack is too predictable and too static. No inside runs between the cb's and fullbacks from your
wide attackers or diagonal runs like the city wingers do.

Last 2 games we missed about 6 great chances that even a 6 year old would expect to score with any composure. We made sitters look impossible.

Expected points 7.93 for Man City vs Man Utd 7.11 and Liverpool next with 5.85. To get such high expected points means you have to completely outplay the opposition in all 3 games.

Or you just select random metrics and numbers that don’t mean anything, before or after so makes no difference to anyone ever.

This is absolute bollox. You can't expect sh!t in football as it is the lowest scoring sport in the world which is why you get shocks so often.

Man Utd are rammal and that perhaps mark your expected points on that instead. I expect Utd to get between 60 and 65 points.

No it doesn't. It means you missed two penalties.
