Looking forward to watching this game on Friday Ivan.
Shankland looks like an unbelievable signing for you guys. Is that almost 10 goals for the season already?
Did anyone see Dundee publishing the league table?
They refused to show top place and started it from second
I wonder who is top that they'd not want to acknowledge?

Wee team mentality. As expected.
All Shankland does is score goals. I haven't really seen him play but seems like he doesn't offer much else as wastes so much time scoring.
Anyway, didn't manage to create much on Saturday compared to the Aberdeen game. It was always going to be the case when a lesser team came to Dens.
However, United are not going to park the bus. We should get a lot more freedom, however however, our defence may get exposed. However however however we will have plenty of chances. 2-2 half time with United winning 6-2 in the end with Shankland scoring 5.

7 league goals in three games. And an assist.
What a player.
Barry - seems like Dundee are lacking a wee bit of creativity? It's a very stuffy league the Championship and very hard to break teams down.

That's why it will be nice to be playing a proper team like yourselves Ivan
The table on the club website shows 2nd to 8th in the preview unless you click on view full table. Obviously just didn't want to embarrass Partick and Alloa in the bottom two.
Obviously the website just showed the possible positions that Dundee will finish in this season. Sensible.

I'll give you a wave with my middle finger
Our online ticket allocation went on sale at 10 and sold out within a few minutes. There is still a large queue at Dens for the poor idiots who went and queued instead of buying online. They will have waited hours, before ending up disappointed. Seems a bit unfair that wannabe middle class scuuum like myself can buy online while they have probably taken a morning off from their job (lol job) to get a ticket as they have no internet access at work (lol work).
Really looking forward to the game on Friday. Atmosphere should be terrific and really glad that it's a full house.
It has been a long time since there has been this much excitement going into a derby. The expectation is all on United obviously so a win for us would be a massive upset. If I was a United fan I don't know if I'd even celebrate winning as it's so expected. You can only be upset really. No win situation. Might as well not go.

You travelling from Edinburgh?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah £12 for advanced train tickets so not as bad as the usual £30 return. You?

No direct trains but the quickest way is to get a train to Inverkeithing and change there. It means you would have to make the 22:13 train back from Dundee as that's the last one that can make a connection in Inverkeithing back to Dunfermline.
I assume you are just taking an extended stay in Dunfermline after the game on Saturday to enjoy the culture and weather and stuff. It's a good base for a holiday, with Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Methil etc just a short bus journey away for day trips.
