Once the European window shuts the uncertainty etc will be gone and everybody will know where we stand. I won`t be surprised to see performances improve after Sep 2nd, we`ve seen it before in previous years, a slow dodgy start until the window shuts when we then suddenly start to click.
We should be praying Eriksen remains though, because the future without him does not look too good on current evidence.
There are also rumours surfacing today that we are revisiting a new contract for Toby.

I don`t hold out any hope this season mate, Poch using the European Window as an excuse is just a cop out. Not a chance in hell is Eriksen staying. And even if he does, WTF is the manager not playing him now? Serious questions about the Manager need to be asked.

I think I will be proved correct mate. Unless you think a side that has been playing relegation form for the past six months is suddenly going to morph into Barcelona. I think you are in for an almighty shock in the next few weeks about the number of defeats that will start piling up.
Talk about heads in sand. Spurs have won just seven of past 21 games in all competitions. Any other manager would long ago have been sacked with that record.

Its 3 games into the season and you're already saying the season is over
Atleast last year you waited till the back end of the season to say that we will finish 6th and poch should be sacked - another great moment from you
Sandy, if Mike Dean gives us either of those penalties, VAR does not over turn it and we probably go on and win the game. It will then still have been a poor performance, but put down to a top team proving they can `win when playing badly` and everybody would be on a high going into the NLD, there would be hardly any of this negativity today.
Unfortunately, after Poch called out Mike Dean away at Burnley last season, we were never going to get any decisions out of him no matter how blatant, and he refereed the game as such. We all know Mike Dean referees games with an agenda.
Let`s see how things are after 10 games and when everything has settled down and when Poch knows what players he has to work with.
One year ago we were winning the double and now we need a complete rebuild.
Usually this happens around the new year, we are treated 5 months early

Sadly you're right. People are quick to blame Levy for everything wrong about the club but that kind of form is grounds to be sacked these days, whoever you are.
I'm not calling for it yet, and I back Poch to turn this around but for sure he must be feeling the pressure. Yes there may be extenuating circumstances with players possibly leaving etc but it's his job to manage that, both on and off the pitch.

If it was only three games it wouldn`t be a problem, but come on this has been going on for months. I cannot believe some of our supporters are so naïve not think this is not going to end well this season.
Can anybody actually tell me the last time Spurs played well in a Prem game?

Spurs will be comfortably 3rd this season they are too strong not to be.
If as the OP states half the side will go at the end of the season then a complete rebuild could have you finish anywhere from 1st to 20th
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody outside of the top two is too strong to predict anything, on current 2019 form Spurs would struggle to be top six and the rest of us are not much better.

I suspect somewhere aroundabout mid table. I hope I am wrong, and the new fellas can turn it around. But I called this last season, and nothing has changed.
Spurs only wins this last six months in the Prem have come against Palace, first game at the new stadium, so anything other than a win would have been a big letdown. Brighton with a goal a couple of minutes from the end, Aston Villa with goals in the last 15 minutes and Huddersfield who are almost propping up the Championship now. Haven`t won an away game in the Prem since February.
Yet you lot are still saying everything is OK and fine and rosey. Honestly wake up everyone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody could have foreseen the collapse of the team so badly.
On rebuilding the team for next season ... it is absolutely clear that the following players will not be at NWHL...
1. Vertonghen
2. Alderweireld
3. Eriksen
4. Sissoko
5. Rose
6. Aurier
And there will be others gone as well.
Incoming replacements ATM are
1. Unknown
2. Sanchez
3. Lo Celso
4. NDombele
5. Sessignon
6. Foyth
If you have confidence in Sanchez, Lo Celso and Foyth then we will need at least 1 bigtime CB.
If like me you do not have confidence in any of Sanchez, Lo Celso or Foyth, then we need at least 3 new bigtime players.
Can you see Levy going out and buying 3 top players? And replacing the other losses that may leave as well?
Nope! There will almost certainly be an attempt to stick with what we have and promote from inside the club roster.
If that's what happens this club can only go down further than it already has!
Welcome to the future
Ted.. what on earth could you possibly have against Lo Celso already? And why would Sissoko be shipped out?

His performances in the Copa A.
Same with Foyth.
And Sissoko has the old age problem.
Exactly what is causing the issues between Vertonghen and Levy ATM.
We wouldn't sign Messi or Aguero based on the Copa America.
I don't think we'll have the same issue with Sissoko, not next summer. Especially if he's still making the France squad.

Well you do have a point ... the Argentine team as a whole played badly. But Foyth & Lo Celso were particularly bad in the matches I watched.
Real Betis replaced Lo Celso with Nabil Fekir which is the kind if player we should have gone for. But of course, Pochettino is Argentinian! And Fekir does have a prior knee injury. But he's playing regularly for the French squad too.
Sissoko, we shall see ....its all about Levy you know!
