Brown can't take the ball in tight situations, not got the quality and a yard of his pace has gone which makes it worse. He got absolutely battered silly at in the midfield last 2 games at Ibrox

Its not just that..if rangers feel they are getting the better of him it raises them and their crowd..it would be a very difficult position for us.

I'm probably in a minority here but I'd play Bitton every week. He's fine at CB and plays a great ball out from the back

see if we don't win 9, they will tell stories about this in the years to come

chance for 9 in a row so lawwell decided to offer a chubby alchy the job while he was washing his ginger pubes in a shower, head and shoulders in one hand and a can of super lager in the other.

lawwell should get done for match fixing for this

I would guess with Celtics change of keeper there will be fewer balls played out to Browns feet.

Browns biggest problem against us last season was when he received the ball 30 yards out facing his own goal with Arfield or Jack right on top of him. The ball inevitably went out of the side of the park for a throw in to us.

Celtics team doesn't seem that big middle to front though (Forrest McGregor, Christie, Johnson etc) so who is the target when the keeper kicks long?

If Bitton upped his urgency a wee bit I'd take Brown right out the team for him!

I am not saying it will be easy.

I am saying he will relish the battle that will ensue from a keeper repeatedly kicking long down the throat of the CB.

Ok
.I dont think the goalie will do that repeatedly...just that Edouard is the target when we do it

The ball is always kicked to the wings when it's kicked long, the wingers/full backs are always of a similar size, either you win a thrown in or lose a throw in....if not it's the 2nd ball for either midfield to pick up

I thought one of the reasons Bain was no longer in favour was Lenny favouring less football out the back from the keeper.

And a desire to get the ball forward quicker.

I haven't seen celtic play this season so don't know if that's accurate but that was the impression I got on here.

We tend to go to Tavs as the out ball high up on the right when the keeper goes long.
