Just look @ City's group. Definitely designed for them to get to knockout stages unhindered.

Seeds should be scrapped imo. Its champions league ffs, its supposed to be difficult.
I'm happy with our draw. Definitely should be able to qualify out of that.
Only allowed two teams from one nation on one half of draw. As Liverpool and Chelsea were in the bottom half Spurs had to go into the top half.

The whole set up is corrupt, it’s designed to make the most cash it can. The draw generally reflects that was h year.

The teams are separated that way mainly for TV purposes, or safety purposes WRT teams from the same city playing at the same time.
There's no point readily accepting the benefits of TV coverage and sponsorship if you don't like the baggage that comes with it.
