OP

You should know that the CL has always been fiddled. Not quite sure how they do it, but it is a fixed draw.

There should be absolutely no country protection, no seeding. Just a straight draw. Could all be over in five minutes, and it would be a proper draw, not some manufactured nonsense to get the money clubs going as far as possible.

Yeah, who doesn't want to see English clubs play each other twice domestically AND twice in European group stages

There are security reasons for separating clubs in the same city.

There was a season where Liverpool had no country protection and I don't think the Chelsea Vs Liverpool matches that year lived long in the memory.

Those that don`t want a straight draw are followers of teams that are scared there team may get knocked out early doors.

It is what is mate. By teams having country protection, does that mean last seasons CL final should not have been played then. LOL.

Nope, my team aren't in it. I am against a straight draw because it would lead to some very easy paths to the final (look at the reaction to City's draw now) while some very good teams will be knocked out early.

I want the best teams to progress, and AS Monaco and Ajax and Liverpool proved, seedings do not stop good lower seeds progressing.

To draw a tennis comparison, I want to watch Nadal Vs Federer in a semi final or final, not in the first round.

Would have saved Spurs the embarrassment of the schooling they received....
