Dropped points today I’m afraid - we really could have made a huge statement today - but just in typical Forest fashion - we blew it
Only positive, is that we’re difficult to beat and did well to come back and get a point - but it definitely feels like we dropped 2 today 😕
Righto guys, off to watch the Barca 2nd half. See you all in a couple of weeks...

Enjoy. Are they really serious about wanting Neymar back? Seems a backwards step to me. He is a mile off Messi, Griesmann and Suarez IMO.

I think Forest showed some grit and determination. Have to applaud that. Seen PNE waltz away with three points over recent seasons so it’s got to be an improvement!

Yeah, Neymar is a busted flush really
Didn’t play first half. Picked it up second half when Sow came on and also we started moving the ball quicker.
Would have taken 4 points from last 2 games so not too bad. But it would be good to capitalise more when we beat one of the bigger teams. All in all a decent start to the season.
Plus spanked derby in a cup game which is always enjoyable.

They're not seeing the funny side at all!
Best thing about today, we don’t have to suffer PNE at home again in the league this season. They are awful to watch, I used to think Stoke were ‘anti’ football, PNE have stolen that title. There constant time wasting, feigning injury, coupled with a truly awful referee, made for a thoroughly miserable spectacle. Last season we would have lost that game, at least we salvaged a point. A couple of weeks rest then off to Swansea, another point there and we will be sitting in a very satisfactory position. Swansea will of course be our toughest test yet, and may answer a lot of questions.

I wouldn’t be that harsh on PNE. They’ve made the most of what’s available to them. They were missing two of their better forwards. They arguably should’ve won the game with some very good chances created in the first half. When a team goes 1-0 up away from home in this league they, more often than now, time waste. Teams are generally evenly matched so they take the hold at all costs approach.
Neill wasn’t happy with the Forest equaliser. Reckons it was offside? Adomah and Grabban did seem in oceans of space. Hard to tell from the one camera angle.
Anyhow, Bring on the Swansea!
Will, they had some good chances in the first half but shot straight at Samba, basically, very wasteful. There tactics were appalling, much the same as last season, Alex Nill said he felt ‘robbed’, I feel the same after having to pay to watch their ‘brand’,of football. Hopefully there kind of football will not prosper. PNE and QPR are renowned for this ‘style’, unfortunately we will see pretty much the same thing when the hoops arrive.

Agree with this. Their goal came when a misplaced, long range shot rebounded kindly.
They did make life more awkward than usual for Dawson and Worrall, and in the first half scared us into bypassing midfield. But their version of the dark arts was so distasteful that I cheered our equaliser just for stuffing that back down their throats, even though we'd played pretty poorly.

No dave, but we do have Cardiff to look forward to.
Seriously there will be other teams who adopt similar tactics and who can blame them. Lamouchi and his coaches must find ways to overcome them.
We could do with more pace, more creativity and a genuine striker who can support Grabban rather than ask a midfielder to do it

On that note, looks like we selling Appiah for 8m 🤔
Yes, Appiah off to the Spanish leagues. £8m is the overall deal if he makes it over there. People who watch the Academy sides reckon Alex Mighten could be the better product.
