Last season was turmoil, I’m starting from a clean slate this season. Been so much overreaction, we need to give ole at least the season to see what he can do, some of the right signs are there.
I agree.

Yes, unless there’s a player revolt or we’re going down I think we have to give him the season. His vision seems to fit with what the fans want and, in any case, another managerial change would just set us back again. I wouldn’t have offloaded Herrera or Smalling but my only gripe - whether it’s Ole or the board or whoever - is that we’re short-staffed in attack. We started 2025-16 like that and struggled to score all season. Our lack of creativity against average sides has been striking already.

Ridiculous article.
An awful lot has changed over the summer, sonjust to lump everything in together is madness.
Long, long way to go before we see what Ole is really made of.

It’s bizarre people think he has this bulletproof vest that protects him from the sack.

Not sure why you said that in a reply to me, as nothing you’ve said has any relevance to what I said.
Who knows what will happen.
The addidas deal is at risk if we don't make CL this season. The club may get nervous around xmas and sack him and back a new horse in Jan.
Prepare for a rollercoaster of a season!

Yeah, you got worse up front and in midfield. If you cannot see that you now have a 16 game poor run, then you need to look again.

If we are really giving Ole a chance, he needs two seasons.
This one was a clear out, he didn't get all of the players he wants but the ones he did I am sure will go on to have good United careers. One more good window and 3 or 4 players and I think he will have build great foundations.
Whether he is the man to take us to the next step, I don't know. However I do believe he is doing good work with the squad.
Not one sign of improvement? I can give you three, our new signings.

Yeah he looks out of his depth to me, that run he went on last year really does look like it was more about the players being free of Mourinho than it was about Ole.
That being said United need to decide what they want to be as a club now. They either go the Chelsea route and chop and change managers as they please but if they do that then you need a quality structure in place so everything else (player recruitment, player retention etc) is top quality, instead of what it is right now (Woodward).
Or you need to stick with Ole for a couple seasons and hope he’s going to be a quick learner.
Losing and drawing matches is not an improvement overall though

That's rich, every time Liverpool play you're on here.
It's easy to say give him time but modern fans and football shows when the results are bad at a top club you get the boot.
Ole has who he is on his side and to be fair the match going united fans are as loyal as you get but if he's still not delivering by Xmas and united are 7th or so he likely gets fired, which isn't how it should be but generally it's reality
