Ryan Giles on loan at Shrewsbury made his debut for England U21 against Netherlands last night in a game played at Shrewsbury
Leander Dendoncker has had to pull out of Belgium’s game against San Marino tonight after picking up an injury in training. But he hopes to be fit to face Scotland on Monday

Good to see Willy Boly getting international recognition for the first time. Although French he qualifies for Ivory Coast through his parents.
Ideal time for his selection as he is suspended from Wolves next game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Evidently Boly despite being selected for the Ivory Coast squad has not travelled to Africa to be with them and is instead having a break in France with his family
Scotland the brave
Currently fourth in a three horse race 😂
Didn't realise that Dinosaur Steve Clarke was manager now?

Steve Clarke?!?! Nor did I
Amusing thing is Scotland get a second chance with the play off which they will host which will involve likely Norway, Serbia and one of Bulgaria or Israel.
Yes, that really will be amusing watching them blow that chance as well 😂😂
It was 50 years ago this week that Peter Knowles made the amazing decision to give up football and become a Jehova’s Witness. He was to become a window cleaner, a milkman then a warehouseman in the marks and spencer store in Wolverhampton.
One of the most talented players to play for the club he would probably have gone on to be an England international and Robbie Keane is the most similar player we have had since. He scored over 60 goals for Wolves averaging more than one every three games from midfield.
Wolves fans have ever since wondered how good he could have become, but evidently his retirement is something he has never regretted
Certainly more to do with your life than play football.
Cleaning windows is just one example.

You think Scotland would beat any of them? Poor nations like them should be put in qualifiers against the Ikea of Malta, Gibraltar, San Marino then only winners of that go onto another qualifying stage against the likes of Moldova, Luxembourg etc. Even then the Jocks would fail ha ha ha ha ha
* of course I meant likes, not ikea
I wasn't going to post the preview thread for the next game until about Tuesday but England have blown it with ashes and th e wife has feckin Strictly on the telly now so being totally depressed it has to be done.
It's coming...........
