I'm a big believer of freedom of speech when it comes to comedy. JFK and Call Sign didn't find it in taste and because both myself and Pointy respect their opinions, it was removed. But the joke was at my expense and i didn't have a problem with it.

Pointy is a great guy, as are the majority on here

If anything i encouraged it. So I'd never wish Pointy to be the judgement of ill will

it was cheeky but its not a subject we joke about and one i feel strongly about. the guys were kind enough to acknowledge this and changed it straight away.

And when I say volume I mean numbers not size.

I think RoF is perhaps alluding to some sexual crimes being joked about on here while others are extremely taboo on these boards. And that’s fine, I get what he’s saying.

I suppose I’d use the ‘your maw’ defence: saying we’ve all shaigged your maw has nothing to do with your actual mother, who I’m sure is lovely.

The general consensus seems to be that there’s a world of difference between saying your team has been raped when that’s just a bad-taste metaphor and joking about actual, real-life victims of sexual crimes.

I’d be the biggest hypocrite in the world though if I found one acceptable and the other not so I’d reiterate neither really bother me.

Got to go with the majority on here though which is why Mummy and I shut down our earlier joke. It didn’t bother us but we could see others weren’t comfortable with it.

I guess what it really boils down to is personal opinion. I respect most people’s on here.
