I rate Mikey's emergence ahead of the likes of McGeady, Maloney and Forrest,

Hard to believe there were a few on here didn't think he should play today

To me he should be one of the 1st names on the team sheet, but I understand the reservations people had, he still had a bit of stink on him from the 2 games against Rangers last season, even though he was played as a lone striker and wing back in those games and the rest of the team played just as poorly.
I think today may be the turning point for some fans in regard to trusting him in big games, don't get me wrong he's a young winger who tries to make things happen, he'll have some off days, but we've got a hell of a player on our hands.
We should leave Forrest at home whenever we go to Ibrox btw, absolute waste of a jersey every game there man

Couldn't disagree more mate. He's been fantastic since Lenny came in.
I think people give Mikey Johnson are had time. The only thing id say about him is he looks a bit slight. But so did KT when he broke into the team. I think it's just his frame though. The difference between him in this game and last season is day and night. There is a reason Rangers doubled up on him today

Agreed. He has the potential to be better than Forrest imo. You can see the difference in him compared to someone like Barry Mckay.
The boy is a class act very excited to see how he progresses over the next few years.

Rangers didn't do enough to win but it easily could have been 0-0

I do mate. Our sloppy passing gifted eduard a goal, granted he still had a cool finish and the 2nd was because we were chasing the game last minute. Judging by the first 30 mins I don't think thought it was going to be won by quality football. It was very sloppy by both teams

Biton is so under-rated as a footballer but his awareness and reading of the game makes him ideal for that level.
If he had pace he’d be flooking playing for Barca

Disagree mate. I think your back 4 meant that the game was nullified. Neither team fully dominated. Celtic took advantage of an error which won the game.
McGregor made one key save that prevented a goal.
Bitton and Julian combined with Rangers sloppy passing won you the game. Im by no means taking anything away from your win, it was deserved. But neither team displayed the usual quality that has won OF games.

I agree. He's a different player to Dembele. I said earlier that I think him and Morelos would be an amazing partnership. Edouards link up play is his greatest quality. He's also a fine finisher. But those style of strikers compliment each other amazingly. Perhaps in days of old tho

Ntcham was poor last year. Him and Christie play similar positions, and no way is Christie getting dropped. Nice problem to have.
Btw, kudos to Ntcham for getting his head down and working to get his move, instead of just moaning about it
