Same as every other year, inconsistent, biased and corrupt.
Utterly ridiculous that it took that long for him to be booked.
Danny Rose got a booking and there was zero contact with the Woolwich player
Referees are on a new level of poor officiating this season. Did you see the decision to disallow Aston Villa's goal this weekend? Outrageous.
VAR is brilliant in theory but it's causing confusion by wanting to keep ultimate power with the referees and not take the decision making away from them but when it's obvious (as it has been several games this weekend) it should be overturned.
Referees with ego's are jus the worst as well. I played last weekend and scored a goal which was disallowed. It being a friendly the opponent were honest and told the referee it was a goal and the ball was always in-bound before scoring. Referee hears what everyone is saying and refuses to change his decision but "his word is final" - felt like pimp slapping him
Dont know why you are complaining about Xhaka not being booked by the ref as that actually helped you.
He was the worst player on the pitch and if booked earlier he would have been taken off.

Lol true though it might have been better for us if he’d been daft enough to get himself sent off
You should be grateful that he wasn't sent off, as he was your best player.

you would think that however it might have actually made us defend and put some players in MF instead of you being able to walk through at will lmao .

Good decision for me. Player pulled out and Grealish still dived.
You're lucky he wasn't booked earlier, he might have been subbed and we would have improved greatly
Utterly useless caaant of a player
Xhaka was your best player
The way he gifted that penalty

Also nodded every single aerial ball down to a Tottenham player.
The tackle on Son should have been a straight Red.

Never a dive. Zaha gave him a shove that put him off balance then he went down as he played the ball.

Definite dive. Yes he was off balance from the push but he started going down before the contact, left his leg in as he was going down.
He was pushed, caught by Cahill, and his momentum, and sorting out his feet as he was off balance, when playing the pass caused him to fall. You could see him watching his pass, never even began to appeal for a penalty.
The worst VAR decision this weekend was the Tielemans "challenge".

I think if it wasn't for VAR he would have got it. It's going to take some players and some fans some time to adjust to this. You won't get the penalty when you're already going down and you play for the contact by leaving your leg in. If anything it was a freekick for the push but then VAR doesn't intervene in such cases.
Perhaps they are ruining VAR on purpose then later say "well, we tried".
Think Harry deserved a red card for simulation.
