Wide areas is where we are short on quality.

Jones has been the best of the bunch and he's not getting that many minutes and now is suspended for a while. Barker hasn't had much of a look in but what i have seen didn't impress. Ojo can finish but he's not up to much else. Hastie not up to it.

The need for Kent or someone like him definitely more apparent after yesterday but i wouldn't panic. A bad performance and result in a game that lacked quality.

Lennon did Gerrard yesterday though and that is where most of the blame lies. And with Goldson for getting us into that mess.

Ohhhhhh nooooo Bit of a strange one this.

We definitely don't need Skrtel. We have a £3m CB kicking his heels on the bench as it is.

We still lack that bit of extra quality this summers recruitment was supposed to bring. I think we have more variety of options that will probably serve us well against most teams in our league. But we really needed a bit of quality yesterday when things weren't going well generally and we just didn't have it.

Barker is not the answer and is almost as puzzling a signing as Stewart was.

Unfortunately I don't see us making any significant moves in the market today which leaves us with a very slim to none chance of winning the league unfortunately.

Celtic showed yesterday that the experience and habit of winning titles will serve them well this season.

SG tried to be too clever yesterday and it blew up in his face. Not playing any wingers and not even trying to put pressure on Bolingolli was unforgivable.

For 70 minutes I was watching it though in disbelief that even though we hadn't played well we were still losing thanks to a schoolboy error from Goldson. They took their chance well and then threatened more towards the end as we tried to open up a bit.

Celtic deserved everything they got yesterday and SG needs to accept he got this one wildly wrong.

Surprised the figure quoted is still £6-7m. Thought it would be nearer £5m which seems about right and is a decent compromise.

Expect the Europa League tickets to be about £100 a game to pay for this
