It is true though. Utd and spurs are rivals for top 4.
The difference between ourselves/spurs and utd is we have lots of room for improvement in terms of personnel coming back. Against sheffield utd we were missing half our first team.

Chelsea should have won all their games except United away in which they got destroyed.
Spurs have played away at City and Arsenal, places where Chelsea will probably take a beating. Last season City put 6 past Chelsea FFS.

Utd away first half we were the better team. Drew with the european champions. Drew against leicester and missing a lot of our best players. Sheff utd was the only dissapointing result for me.
Spurs getting lucky but they will improve. I think it will be between us utd and arsenal for 4th
Infact we should have beaten utd on chances created, and not Leicester, who were better than us so your original statement is incorrect.

Yup we have some very good players to come back. In fact every single player who was unavailable for the Sheffield game is a potential first team regular - Kante, Rudiger, Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Loftus-Cheek.
That's half an outfield team so while we've been a bit unlucky in terms of injuries going into the season there's certainly scope for significant improvement when everyone is available.
And pedro superb who was fantastic against liverpool.

Like Biggish I'm not overly concerned with league position this season.
I just want the board to be strong and back Super Frank. Because this season had to happen eventually.
I just want to see clear signs that this team and Super Frank are going to get better given time and I feel I've seen snippets of that in regards to the team.

We have only had 4 games ffs,we have another 34 to go !
please, all the pessimists on here ,look at the broader long term picture, I am, and I feel more optimistic now,than I have for a long time.

The league table is an extremely limited and blunt measuring tool.. certainly not appropriate for each and every individual club and their unique set of circumstances
The league table is basically split into top four, top six top ten and relegation places...all teams know their place and set their stalls out appropriately.
We are slightly unique this term in having a green manager in a top club and a transfer ban
Other than that - it's pretty much business as usual

Chelsea lost 4-0. The scoreline flattered Utd but there's no way a team should win when they get beat by 4.

Yup we have some very good players to come back. In fact every single player who was unavailable for the Sheffield game is a potential first team regular - Kante, Rudiger, Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Loftus-Cheek.

We have only had 4 games ffs,we have another 34 to go !
please, all the pessimists on here ,look at the broader long term picture, I am, and I feel more optimistic now,than I have for a long time.
