As it stands Derby haven’t broken any rules. If MM has an independent valuation of PP at the time of purchase, then I can’t see what relevance the EFL’s valuation will hold. Not seen anything in the EFL rules to state that they have to approve the valuation of a clubs assets. This one could get tied up in the courts for some time.
I'm surprised we haven't been hit with a disrepute charge over the whole Rooney shirt number thing too, although I guess they're waiting for it to actually happen first.
The EFL depends too much on the gambling industry to have any complaints about the Rooney deal.
On their terms tho, not ours.
The valuation of the stadium had the rights to stage concerts etc so was valued at more than just the building
All this is, is to appease the clubs who complained, nothing wrong done by Derby
As for the Rooney sponsorship. how can the EFL do anything, we are playing in the Sky Bet Championship and we recently played a game at the Bet 365 stadium
If they dont want to give us a points deduction directly they could just make us keep Waghorn as penalty taker all season
Should amount to about 15 points
The EFL have had a hard on for MM since he told them to poke iFollow
It's Steve Gibson complaining. He could do the same but who would value the Riverside stadium at more than what you would find down the back of the sofa. Always amazed that the Riverside stadium is of similar design to PP, not much older but looks a total dump.

Gibson seems to like the limelight. I think he will be behind this latest attempt to sully Derby. He is in a similar situation to Mad Mel in that he has splashed the cash and still finds Boro in the same league despite it all so will be getting a bit of a sweat on.
