And yes I do know it's next week, but I was thinking about it.

There’s a lot to like about Leicester

A better midfield than ours, a better creator in Madison, imo a better striker in Vardy and also imo a better manager in Rodgers.

Will be tough and they’ll be looking to hit us on the counter attack. I’m sure Maguire will be fired up against his old side.

We never win at Old Trafford and you do still have quality, I actually think United will win.

Hard to say, we could have won any of our last three games and could have lost the only game we won.

We are a young team which means we are inconsistent.

Well, you’ve changed your tune. More consistent, rather than better is the words you wanted for creator..

Perhaps. I’m a big fan of Madison and think his ceiling is very high. I’ve grown less and less impressed with Pogba for years now. That Sevilla game was the beginning of it.

You spent two years begging for him to join

And? You can want players to sign and once time passes if they disappoint you you can want them to go.

Are you saying you’ve never wanted a player to leave the club after initially wanting them to join us?

As a Leicester fan, I can’t work out whether our upcoming matches against Man Utd and Spurs are an opportunity or a reality check. Perhaps they will be both in a way. I wouldn’t like to predict this, particularly since both are young teams. However, I do expect Utd to have the bit between their teeth and be determined to see off the likes of us and Everton.

PS. Pete Postlethwaite - Great call. Acted everyone else off the screen in Jurassic Park 2. Made it feel like a legitimate movie.

Postlethwaite held his own against Daniel Day Lewis in the classic In the name of the father too.

I can't see us winning this game.

The best outcome for us will sadly be a draw.

But a defeat for us will not be a surprise.

We are vulnerable to whoever we play right now.

Hope i'm wrong

My money is on a draw or swim. Leicester are a good team, and better than who we’ve struggled against, but I think we’ll step back in the right direction..

If AWB is still out for that game, then it's going to be a long drab day.

Not saying we would necessarily win with him there (as we actually have to find the magical formula to score more than the opposition by the final whistle). But he'd be a reassuring calmness down the right side of defence.

I agree you could struggle but not because Leicester sit back and counter, they don't. They're a better team at the moment who look to get on the ball and pass it. Of course they still have that threat on the counter but both teams play a similar game.

The thing is Leicester look like every player knows what their specific role is and it's a balanced team. Whereas United can play like a team one game and then it just looks like it's disjointed in others. It could be young players, Pogba playing when he feels like it, new signings adjusting but it's a Leicester win for me.

Leicester have Johnny Evans in defence, if we had a big strong flat track bully centre forward we could destroy him as seen many times like the genius of Carlton Cole mm but hang on maybe Jesse can do it now

You'd think United will get results at some point. The players should at least be fully up for this one as Leicester are no mugs

posted on 6/9/19

There isn't much chance of us sitting back and defending, we don't do that anymore. One thing that concerns me is what formation we will play, if we go with 4-1-4-1 with Maddison in the middle and some proper width then I feel confident of getting a result. If we play 4-3-3 and waste Maddison out wide then it'll mean Vardy won't get the type of passes he needs and we could struggle.

Our midfield is better than United's and Ndidi will more than likely boss Pogba, who doesn't like it when players get up him. If we win the midfield and Maddison is in the middle then I think Maguire will be in for a torrid afternoon because he won't get close to Vardy. It'll also be interesting to see Vards chasing Maguire down because he does like to spend too long on the ball and obviously that's something you simply can't do against Vards.

We very rarely get anything from OT so I'll be happy with a point.

A real danger of the fans boiling over if you get beat by Leicester imo.

Not been a good start, results need to pick up fast.

Too early for that yet. I was in the Stratford End against Palace and heard no dissent. Frustration, yes, but any anger (rightly or wrongly) was kept for the referee. I think a lot of fans understand where we are.

They might boil over on here, but not at OT unless we go down without a fight.
