Fir example we have both pisted on the Drinker, Pogba/Wijnaldum, GOAT and Grass is greener threads and thats simply not happened.

I don't know what I've done to rile you so much to the point your willing to literally make things up but I do feel you should view my comments about you as observations rather than insults.

Out of interest, if you don't think Kompany is saying VVD's level is higher but he's not done it as long as Terry or Rio; what do you think he's saying there?
It's only one man's opinion but it seems relatively clear to me what that opinion is.

Yep. Would have been interesting if someone had followed up with the question... and if you include Jaap Stam...
He was a fantastic defender and looking back it seems crazy that a player at his level should go to a mid-level club like Lazio were at the time rather than another CL contender.
I know the wisdom at the time suggested he was kicked out of Utd for his book but given he failed the drugs test soon after joining Lazio, I do wonder whether Ferguson got wind of that and sold him.
