Given the paucity of available talent I thought they did reasonably well against a good team
Liverpool on one side and kilmarnock on the other says it all I'm afraid.
Do youngsters still play football in Scotland? What has gone so wrong in the last couple of decades?
I can remember when Scotland produced some of the best players in Europe.

Our midfield/goalkeeprs on paper are fine but we haven't produced a decent centre half or striker in god knows how long
