Where have you got the information that bamford is on 50k a week?

The only thing I could find was a report from the yep which states that we signed bamford after we wouldn’t pay 50k a week for vdyran.

So if we were not willing to pay it on one player I don’t see how we would pay it on another.

I’m interested where you got your information from as I’ve seen no reports to back up your claim

Just seen now that the deal is signed, so that's good news. Sounds like there is a get out clause if no promotion this summer, but I'd be expecting him to leave anyway this summer if not promoted, so lets go get promoted and ensure he plays in Pre with us!

So he was on 50k at Real. That doesn't mean he is on 50k for us, does it? It also doesn't substantiate your claim that Bamford is on 50k as far as I can see. I've only ever heard him being on 30-35k.

Bamford is on 30k

Googled Kilo Casilla wage and found a few reports saying he was on £30k at Real Madrid and at Leeds mostly £30k one at £35k and another at £40k

So because Orta signed him I assumed he must be on at least £50k

But again that’s not answering my question.

I’ve asked you where you got the information that Bamford is on 50 (or 45)k a week.

I’ve seen a yep article which states we didn’t bring in one player cause he wanted 50k a week. So I can’t see us paying 45 or 50 for anyone in our squad

Also we signed Kiko from Madrid on a free, the caveat was that it wasnt actually a free as we were paying all his Real Madrid owed wages to him which worked out at around 3 and a half million

I can’t see a situation where we would be matching his wages at Madrid, and believe the point of paying his contract off was so that he would move for wages lower than he was on at the time (although that last part is interpretation on my part)

Always remember when everyone was praising Murphy for signing a new deal on lower weekly wage.

It was disaster. He ended up on a huge long deal, on far too money. He made huge money of Leeds.

Similar with the keeper, on long term deal, but for less money than he was probably on at Madrid

I wonder what Banks got when he was playing as England's number one?..

Mind, I don't think in that day and age anybody thought about bringing their club to its knees, they wore the shirt for what it was!..
