I was going to say there’s a lot of left footers in the team but not going to bother now.

It's unclear what direction the SFA would take, but under FIFA's residency rules, Tavernier would be eligible to pull on the Scotland strip next season, when he will have lived in Scotland for over five years, after the governing body increased it from two years back in May 2008.
