Lets see who got closest to the correct score? I was pleasantly surprised at the clean sheet i did say that also
‘But Celtics performance seems to have been blown more than a little bit out of proportion on this one. I think it comes from relief more than the usual arrogance on this occasion.’
Much the same as the performances from rangers last season in their OF wins. Some folk were even polishing the toalie of a good 15-20 minute spell for rangers in the 2-1 win for Celtic.

For clarity-i only pointed out that the comment had been made as it was being said it hadn’t. It was good of Fash to jump in and make an idiot of himself, only to try and shift the convo onto what Weig said.

It was like Sammy sunday, no one gave us a chance and we pumped you 2-0 same as the other week.
No matter who predicted what, the general consensus was Rangers would win. The fact we won with ease made that little bit more satisfying. Most Celtic fans will agree

No idea, not sure if i made one and if i did i'm not sure what it was.
That said, i was definitely leaning in our favour and imagine pre-game i thought we would edge it.

I think most Rangers fans, pundits and bookies will hold up their hands and say they didn't expect a 2-0 win for celtic in this case.
It was hardly a pumping - it was poor game which was opened up by a defensive mistake and not an awful lot more to write home about beyond that.
I was trying to make the point that i was one of the few confident celtic fans who predicted a win and i was correct in that.
Lets not get lost in the details of the scoreline. I am sure you have analysed the game enough

Not sure what game they watched but my honest assessment was it was a terrible game with two sides short on quality that Celtic deserved to win.

I haven't watched the game back but I did sit through most of the game in disbelief how badly we were set up and how badly individuals were performing.
And as much as celtic fully deserved their win - they certainly didn't play like the unstoppable goal machine some might have you believe.
