Sterling is the best in the league at what he does. He would start for any team able to use his strengths. Better with a great midfield like he has at City though.

Yeah Mane is a better player than Salah as he is excellent individually as well but his team work is better than Salah's. He helps the team more and is less selfish. Although Salah is improving in regards to teamwork.

First I heard of it. Had a Google and Poch said:-
“We need a player who is more direct, more aggressive offensively because we have players like Eriksen, Son or Lamela, who like the ball played into their feet.
“So we need someone who has characteristics like we saw from Liverpool, like Sadio Mane, the type of player that can break the defensive line.”
Interestingly his agent said five clubs put in offers. I know United were one and now Spurs. Liverpool another. I wonder who the other two were. I think I remember talk of Arsenal being in for him at the time. His agent said:-
"Sadio had five offers in the summer and financially all of them were good.
"We wanted the right team, with the right coach at the right moment to arrive at the next level. That is the reason Sadio went to Anfield."

I'd say they're both as good as each other in creating chances but Salah more likely to be in the position to do so since he is the one furthest up the pitch when we are out of possession and Mane is mostly chasing back helping the team. Mane more likely to pass than Salah too but can himself choose to shoot when he should pass, on occasion.
The first point in this debate should be whether if lfc kept sterling; would that have kept Rodgers in a job.
Would we even have our front 3?
Would sterling have simply stuck to the funny gas or did he need guardiola beating sense into his skull?
For me I'm glad everything that happened, happened. We got klopp.
Sterling is, with Aguero and KDB the player in the PL right now. He is working with the best coach in the world in Pep so, while he would start in any team, he is in the best place to continue to improve.

Salah had one of the best seasons of anyone in the PL in his first season. Up there with Suarez, Ronaldo, Henry etc.. Mane might be in better form but Salah has shown he's reached a higher ceiling already.

Yes in terms of goalscoring. Salah is a better goalscorer. Mane is a better all round player.

Mane getting overrated on this thread. I mean Mane over Son, fine, but Mane over Salah too? Come on.

Yeah Mane is a better player than Salah as he is excellent individually as well but his team work is better than Salah's. He helps the team more and is less selfish. Although Salah is improving in regards to teamwork.

I'd say they're both as good as each other in creating chances but Salah more likely to be in the position to do so since he is the one furthest up the pitch when we are out of possession and Mane is mostly chasing back helping the team. Mane more likely to pass than Salah too but can himself choose to shoot when he should pass, on occasion.

The first point in this debate should be whether if lfc kept sterling; would that have kept Rodgers in a job.
Would we even have our front 3?
Would sterling have simply stuck to the funny gas or did he need guardiola beating sense into his skull?
For me I'm glad everything that happened, happened. We got klopp.

Sterling is, with Aguero and KDB the player in the PL right now. He is working with the best coach in the world in Pep so, while he would start in any team, he is in the best place to continue to improve.
