"Lo Celso, deemed not up to scratch to start the season"

Bit silly to think lo celso hasn't been starting because poch doesnt rate him, Lucas didn't start for faaackin ages and that turned out ok

Maybe you should try being patient instead of actively looking for things to complain about to the point of self parody?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Moura has been anything but a success. The manager clearly still does not see him as a first team regular.

"Moura has been anything but a success"

ffs. he is one of our most dangerous forwards, especially in an open game... his scoring dragged us through games at the back end of last season and the man is a proper big game player. poch is completely under using him however, and him not starting the CL final was ridiculous
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You do know Chronic Spurs barely won a game at the back end of the season. So what exactly games did he drag Spurs through? The only game he dragged Spurs through was the semi-final of the CL. But don`t make up things mate.

Jack Clarke, loaned back to Leeds, where he is yet to start a game this season.

---------------

I have to say, as a Leeds fan, been very disappointed in Clarke - he started the cup games and offered nothing at all...

he had a spell in the first team last season, mayb e4 or 5 games where he looked like the new Ronaldo, since then, nothing... from our point of view, 10 million, thanks very much Spurs.. for once Leeds have sold a player and been rather shrewd about it.

I like the kid, I do hope he progresses his career, but my thoughts are he won't at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the info mate. Looks like Spurs have wasted more money then. Although he is young, so must be given a bit of time.

Both teams were schite in a schite final. Schite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, it was probably one, if not the worse, CL of all time. It was a complete non event. Spurs were to blame a lot for that. They just did not seem up for winning the biggest ever prize.

Sandy - the kid changed games as a sub and was an absolute revaluation for about 5 games.. but then seemed to have strange health concern, collapsed after being subbed and was out for about 6 weeks.. rumours of a heart condition (though were quashed and appeared to be a virus)... he returned and was very ineffective..

I hope he picks up this season and helps us to promotion...

He got the equaliser in Barca that got us through our cl group and he was superb at OT in the 0-3 win. He wasn't too shabby at home to Huddersfield either but its hard for him to influnence many games as our manager limits his playing time.

Yup I get he had his moments Paul, but not enough really, considering he has been at the club now for nearly two seasons.

Fair enough Sandy we are not going to agree but I hope we would be singing from the same hymn sheet when it comes to his appalling treatment in Madrid after his heroics in Amsterdam.

And he got the equaliser against City this season. He has had enough important moments already to class him a success.

I've seen you praise Sissoko here before and it took him 2 full seasons to get going and he cost more than Moura, and didn't produce anything near as good as Moura in his first 1 and a half seasons.

You have some really baffling opinions at time, Sandy.

Moura is a class act and i feel he has been a bit mismanaged by Poch. if i was him i would be quite facked off, but he seems like a really nice, patient guy.

i see he just had a new baby i think, so hes probably chuffed with life, whether poch plays him or not.

should be a starter for me though. how the fack poch didn't bring him on in the NLD i will never know. that last 15 was made for him... it was like a basketball match.

Rumor has it Spurs are trying to swap Eriksen out for Dybala in, January being the target date for this.
Frankly I like this idea, especially if Lo Celso works out as a capable replacement for Eriksen.
And even Sandy may be happy with this!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why would Juve swap Dybala - a player under contract they can demand a fee for, for Eriksen who is available for free? If we want Dybala we’ll have to pay through the nose for him, while Eriksen swans off for nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You should refer your questions to Levy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Recently signed a new contract so heavy obviosuly fairly happy with things, or has had some assurances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think that Moura signing is due to him being happy with being under used by Poch, as I am sure every player would rather they played - unless you're Bale and you're well paid to sit on your jacksy.

Moura is terrific little player who single handedly destroyed United and Ajax last year.

Had he been unleashed in the CL final, Spurs would have come away with better outcome than we did, that's for sure 100%

It seems Poch would prefer to hold back in games, and rather dissect the opponents defense slowly than blitz them with Moura's speed.
Big mistake, and Poch over reliance on Lamela is grating sometimes.
Lamela isn't the man to lead an attack.

No problems mate, it is an opinion based forum. I like the fact everybody has different opinions. What I don`t like is when posters resort to insulting when anybody dares to have a different opinion to what they have. Unfortunately there are one or two even on the Spurs board that resort to insults, rather than accepting that other people also have opinions.
