I don’t think he’s a fraud, but I think he’s getting it wrong at the minute.

Worrying it’s the same mistakes Puel made.

Ditch 4-3-3 immediately. Play Toelemans and or Maddison centrally. Don’t isolate Vardy. Let Ndidi just do what he does.

Over complicating it and it is resulting in below par performances.

You could have done with a Maguire today

I guess when I say fraud Mersey - he comes with, on paper, an impressive CV - but on closer examination, do his achievements stack up?

So far on the evidence we have seen, he hasn’t taken us much further than we were with Puel. Obviously it’s very early into his stint at Leicester, but I’m very underwhelmed with him so far

Incredibly frustrating performance. A measure arguably of how poor Manchester United are that this is such a poor result, and performance, from City.

I don't think Rodgers is a fraud, far from it. However, there's no doubting he got it badly wrong today. O'Neill got things wrong, so let's keep calm (for now).

Rodgers, I hope, has learnt a few lessons today. Lessons that if he's still learning 12 months in to the job, we should be worried. For now, I won't get carried away.

Grey was already done for me though. Today cemented it. I'm hoping that's Rodgers's biggest lesson from the afternoon.

Good try. Soyuncu has been great - unlucky with a soft penalty conceded. I personally thought lindelof was better than Maguire for you

Yeah but we’ve said this about Rodgers a few times. He doesn’t appear to be showing any signs of learning from his obvious mistakes. That’s already a worry given that he’s had all of preseason and some of last season to work with these players

This is the same Maguire who was rated as one of England’s worst players against Kosovo?

For me BS I only hear good things about him as a coach but I do think he could do with some help tactically.

I said this might be a year of transition though and it looks like that is exactly what it could be.

you'd have to question if Rodgers is getting the most out of this Leicester squad

We’ve been transitioning for about 2 years now. The guy is inheriting a squad a lot of managers would give their right arm for. He’s had chance to bed in both last season and with a full preseason. What are we transitioning to? Is this another wasted season then?

With us he generally started the season slowly and played the percentages a bit but as the season went on we got stronger.

I think youre being premature.

Probably Ed Woodward - who is likely just realising he’s pi55ed another £80m up the wall. You guys look nailed on for 6th again though - every cloud.....

Sick and tired of him playing two CDM's, when will he learn it doesn't work? Were the Wolves and Chelsea games not enough? Well annoyed.

We made it too easy for United and Maguire by setting us up with two CDM's and playing Maddison out wide which isolates Vardy. We should have gone there to win and put your defence under pressure but we didn't at all until it was too late and by that point you just sat deep and held on for the win. Rodgers got that completely wrong.

Lindelhof wasn't our best CB, Harry was. But then Lindelhof isn't a great player and Harry should be better.

Mind you Blackstar I'll never forget your posts begging us to buy Maguire. Some of the oddest things I've read.

Not sure yet. But he was shocking today, team selection, tactics were pitiful.

Certainly didn't look like a team pushing for top 6.

He certainly isn't. Didn't see the pen but he's been great for us this season. 1 game doesn't make a player.
