I'm not crying about anything, nor am I bothered about us losing our last three against you, I feel we currently have a very bright future and you're miles off where you would like to be whereas we're not. At least we've won the league more recently than you.

I use Phil Thompson because he's a defender and as a former striker and central defender, I noticed it straight away. Perhaps it just takes someone to understand the position better to be able to see it because to me it was blatant, both from an attacking and defending perspective. From an attacking perspective I'd be gambling on the flick on and I'd want to get myself into space away from the centre half, which is exactly what Ayew did. From a defending perspective, I'd be gambling on the flick on and be making sure I was close to the attacker to not allow him the time and space Maguire afforded him. Obviously you don't understand these perspectives.

There is nothing deluded about me, I just see things differently. Soyuncu is younger than Maguire, he's only played a handful of games but his potential is far greater. He is very composed on the ball, he reads the game very well, has amazing pace and he's settled in very well, to the point where we don't miss Maguire at all. Ricardo has been outstanding, he was our Player of the Year for a reason and last season he did outperform AWB, that's just a fact. You'd take Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison without question and probably Chilwell too, who is better than Shaw and Young. Lindelof isn't as good as Evans, not a lot of difference between Kasper and DDG. Vardy is obviously better than Rashford. Where we struggle is our wide players and this is why I say the only players who would get in our side would be Martial and James.

But you’re comparing a 32 year old striker who only got his chance to play for England when he was in his late twenties to an up and coming kid who has been playing for United since he was 18 and can play out wide to accommodate Kane in the middle. Hardly a fair comparison. I like the way you’ve changed topic on the Martial vs Vardy debate though, presumably because you’ve realised how ridiculous you sound

We'll see by the end of the season I guess. I think Leicester will get stronger as the season goes on as BR teams tend to. Conversely I think Utd are up against it fixture wise and will find it harder as the season progresses. Leicester haveba seeper squad, certainly in midfield.

As a neutral, my joint Leicester / United squad when everyone is fit would be:

De Gea

AWB Maguire Soyuncu Chilwell

Pogba Tielemans

James Maddison Martial

Vardy

Isn't Pogba meant to be an attacking midfielder? Ndidi is one of the best defensive midfielders in the league and I'm pretty sure he's made the most tackles for the last two seasons running. I would never play Tielemans over Ndidi in a defensive role, only alongside him. I don't think Pogba and Tielemans would protect the back four very well.

AWB is better defensively but Ricardo is definitely better going forward and we rely on his attacking play, AWB wouldn't fit our style of using attacking full backs.

Evans was our best defender last season and we conceded more goals when Maguire played. Maguire is better on the ball but defensively Evans is definitely better. Maguire wanders out of position too often, is too slow to recover and doesn't read the game very well. Even last season I wanted Soyuncu to keep his place alongside Evans with Maguire on the bench but that's because I watch him week in week out and I just don't rate him as highly as he's made out to be. I'm not the only Leicester fan who thinks this, Dunge has been questioning him since he joined us and was never convinced.

Definitely agree with the front four.
