Aurier is athletic and that’s about it. Not technically gifted, not a great reader of the game often with poor positional sense, rash in the tackle, not a great crosser of the ball and is prone to a brain fart almost every game. Luckily today he had naff all defending to do. Thus, he has a good game π
Hopefully he ll get a consistent run of games now before we can actually judge.

Aurier really hasn't done much wrong, and considering how long he's been out of the team for he was solid today. Better than KWP has been, for sure.

Auriers performance was clearly better than anything KWP has come up with this season. Anyone who says any different is allowing their dislike for him to cloud their judgement.
You just have to look at how he won that header that set the move in motion for Sons volley, which was also an Aurier cross......KWP would have never won that header, the goal would have never happened. KWP can deliver some good crosses and Aurier is also capable without having the quality of say TAA, but his physicality gives him a massive edge over KWP. He needs to be sure he remains focused and minimises the rash moments and hopefully he can prove himself to be a decent RB.
Having said that, expect some Poch rotation of the FBs, as per usual.
Aurier isn't great, but lets be honest hes a whole class above KWP.

Yup.
He's had a handful of decent games in 2 years with us... Was good on Saturday, but has been hopeless in so many games.
Give away too many freekicks with silly challenges.
Still, he's a bit better than KWP.
Aurier gave us so much pace and width on Saturday, not sure if KWP would have had the same success had he played.
he has his faults but hes a senior, natural RB... therefore even if lacking match fitness its a better option than sanchez, KWP, Sissoko, etc etc
i mean sanchez at RB is just absolute nonsense.
