at least its a 6pm ko in Greece. A 3 hr flight.
So its probably back by 2am Thursday morning. Gentle afternoon session etc. Full training friday morning then travel to midlands in the afternoon, then out on the lash

evening kick off in Greece on Wednesday night followed by lunchtime ko on Saturday away at Leicester.
Do the TV schedule decision makers have any regard to midweek fixtures. Do any have a brain in their heads?
Both Liverpool and Chelsea (who play each other) have Tuesday games - Surely Chelsea v Liverpool Saturday lunch and Leicester v Spurs Sunday 4pm ko.
fecking reeetards

You should know by now mate, that Liverpool will always get favourable treatment, and always seem to get more rest between games than Spurs.
Anyone with a brain should know that Liverpool should be playing Saturday, and Spurs playing Sunday. Spurs basically get just two clear days between games, Liverpool get four. And they say it isn`t fixed.

I`d rest Toby, Rose, Son/Kane and Eriksen for this one and bring in Sanchez, Davies, Lucas and Dele (if fit). We need to manage Kane`s workload if we can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry mate you cannot rest all your best players for CL matches, and expect to progress. Poch tried all that three seasons ago, and Spurs never made it out of one of the easiest groups possible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It`s Olympiacos Sandy, we should be able to win with a few changes, it`s a squad game and we will need a fresh team for a difficult trip to Leicester 66 hours later.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly, but why take the risk.
To rotate or not, that is the question!!

I actually wouldnt be surprised if they use some kind of computer program specifically designed to produce a fixture list that favours Pool
Will this be a potential banana skin

Sandy, can't see that mate.
We are too strong for them but maybe you are thinking of the old Olympiakos which used to be a dark horse in Europe with a certain pedigree in the European tournaments.
I am sure even with resting some key players, we have enough to deal with them.
I am though concerned that Spurs have less time to recover in between CL and PL games. Other "favoured" sides seem to get couple of more days regularly for rest and recovery, helping them to keep their players injury free.
Last January, at the business end of the season, Spurs at one time played 17 games in 33 days, whereas Liverpool had few days off, and even took time off in the midst of it, to go to Dubai and get more recovery.
It's this unfair balance between days between games is more worrying.

I don't think they were the "banana skin" ..... I think WE were.
Spurs played really badly most of the time.
Sanchez was pretty well outclassed at RB by their winger.
Davies again showed his total lack of speed and was IMHO largely responsible for their first goal. However, he did make one good pass into their area.
Winks struggled manfully with the job of covering for NDombele as well as his own position.
NDombele was off the pace and out of step with the rest of the Spurs team. He couldn't see a decent pass, even if it was lit up with runway lights for him.
Eriksen has clearly lost form .... perhaps his head is in Madrid?
Delli Alli ... what's happened there?
Kane.....oh where is the old Harry Kane?
We really could have used Dybala today!
